**I need help with set ups and would pretty much require the help in order to really host… **
Please TEXT 480.442.4081 for information. Also delete my old number if you still have it… the one posted is my new one.
This is a trial host and a lot of things could change. I am really looking to gauge how well I can comfortably host people and what I am going to need to host again.
I’m just posting to say good shit with the website; I’ve never been to haz’s (and doubt I ever will just due to distance/gas/lack of interest in MVC3) but what he’s done/doing for this community is amazing.
Well i guess ill throw this out there as well lol, Fridays nights are casuals at my place with Cervesa’s cuz thats how i roll, anytime after 7 im available on that day and im all the way on the west side 43rd ave and Glendale. My number is 623-628-1801, feel free to send me panty pics too.
I would love to make it to either of Angelic or Arush’s events. I can bring a console + game + a spare stick with me, and can help w/ gas. Just need a ride. I live like 2-3 min off the 17 and the 10.
Fridays are hectic at work and i’m usually really tired but I am going to try to put some real effort in going this friday or the next.
Nice!
Please text me (number in my original post) if you have any questions, I would vastly appreciate your set up.
What is your address? I work at McDowell and Central… so 10 and the 17 is pretty close I think.
Might be able to work something out!
Not too far at all!
Text me later…
though I will have to tell you that I would have to pick you up after work (4:30) and the event wouldn’t start till 7:30 (at least 2 hours from when we reach my place) and I will be spending that time cleaning the house with my roommates.
AZHP has really step their game within the last two years. Equipment has been upgraded(probably pretty similar to what Dev has). Rule sets are pretty standard to most competitive tournament(They have been doing that for a while, but just in case). If you haven’t been to an AZHP gaming room recently, I would check them out. They have their own TE sticks or you can bring your own PS3 stick.
Either Robb doesn’t check his facebook or just ignores me. I wanted to make sure he got this message so I am posting it here in hopes he will see it, or someone will direct him too it.
Robb,
I just wanted to let you know I really don’t appreciate your continued comments regarding me, Abe and Arcade-in-a-Box. You don’t like us, fine. Whatever. But telling Aaron he needs to come to AIAB and slap me and Abe and banning AIAB sticks from a tournament? Seriously? I have held my tongue on the issues that went on last year in respect for Devastation and the fact that it’s good for the Arizona community has a whole. I would expect the same bit of respect from you. I have no employees, nor do you, so whatever other people are gonna say they are gonna say it. I would just expect better out of you, and I would appreciate the same level of respect and class from you for what I have given to this community as well.
Yeah well at least they pay their winners… unlike some tournies. And tell your little midget counterpart that if he has some shit he wants to say to me, then quit being a coward and say that shit to me in my face, in person. Otherwise, you both need to stfu and quit running your mouth. Again, you got some shit to say to me or about me, say it to my face.
My apologies to Scooter cuz i know he wont like this post but they’re lucky i didnt say more. Come in to OUR city and talk shit about US??? Werd??
i may just have to take u up on this offer. i to do have a set up (ps3,asus monitor, game, stick) that i could bring. i live right next to AZ mills mall. i will call u if i need a ride .
also about AIAB sticks. I have had mine for almost 4 years now, and i have no issues with it. It has never gone out on me, or had any major issues (one of the quick disconnects fell off a few times, small issue) Other than that i have had no issues. Also Ed has helped me out with switching my stick buttons for me, and also provided me with a free ps3 PCB in my stick. Its fine if you dont like his work, not everyone is going to like his sticks. I have issues with the TE stick, but i still see it as a good stick.
First off, all you ever do is try to stir up shit so your opinion really means nothing to me. I am well aware most of phoenix don’t use AIAB sticks, and I am also well aware that most “Pros” don’t use them either. I don’t market to those people anymore, and never really did until it was kind of thrust in my lap during the shortage of sticks when SFIV came out. I market to casual gamers and people that want something unique and different. I have built over 2500 custom sticks over the years so I must be doing something right.
My point wasn’t to come in here and try to defend the product I make. My point was to call out Robb and try to get some kind of answer out of him. If he wants to play this slander game, then fine. I have enough ammunition and contacts I have saved up for a year to go all Tony Montana if I want to. But who will that help? It will make me feel better, but it only hurts the fighting game community in the end. I’m just asking him to stop taking cheap shots. Just act like I don’t exist. That’s what I do with Devastation.
My other complaint is that everyone seems like they always need to talk and say something so people will take notice of them. Usually that is something negative. Like why did Bryan feel the need to rip AZHP? Why did you feel the need to point out the obvious? People like Frank Castle and Myself have been trying for a long time to do nothing but bring fighting game communities together. If you haven’t noticed, I try to do more than just build sticks. In fact, the building of sticks is the only thing that keeps the Arcade in Tucson open. You don’t care about that though right, because it doesn’t involve you so why should it.
