The 4 series really is boring in comparison. Key phrase being “in comparison”. Even with all the bullshit that comes w/ MvC3, its just more fun. I will still play AE because its still fun, just not as fun as MvC3.
They just need to throw AE out on consoles and move on… I am curious to see how the two X series are going to do and when they will get to building SFV. That game better be a BIG change and not just AE with tweaks and characters - I am not sure what I want out of that but I want it to be a big a change as the Alpha series was to the II series; do not give me the same crappy graphics game for the fourth time.
Since we already have multi-level Super/EX/Ultras… I want better looking characters, air blocking and Alpha counters, basically… hahahahahahaha
I also want the World/Story mode from Alpha 3 - I miss the dynamic battles and leveling/customizing my characters.

I hope that AE makes a comeback in our community, I really can’t handle the bullshit in MvC3. I have a feeling that I would enjoy MvC3 more in a local setting, I just can’t make it out to any of the community events without making myself poor because of gas prices. Hopefully I’ll be able to make it out to an event in the near future and you guys can help me get back on the MvC3 train.

Hey guys! I’ve recently been playing a lot of MK9 and think I’m good enough to tackle the tourney scene. Have a lot of questions though. How many people in Az play MK game regularly? What are the most popular fighting games? How many people show up at tourneys?

They are good for growing the community boyo but I hear what you are saying.
So, the most likely groups that will come out to a paid “high stakes” tourney are the group that hangs out at Hazems, here and the Ranbats (yes, I am aware of the bleedover between the three which is the point) and let’s see if, when and how much peeps are willing to do… I would be happy to set up a “real” tourney.
So, if we want to do it in May we would need to do it on a non-Ranbat Sunday or, perhaps a Friday Night? We might be able to swing one on a Saturday after one of the already scheduled events…
Where? We might be able to swing a UAT or something…
How about cost, is it $10.00… is it $5.00? Tope three payout with the usual 70/20/10?
