Fix? What did they do to Sent assist? Man… Do I even wanna know?
Funny how most assists keep going even if assist gets stuffed (Doom’s missiles for example, dont feel like going into the rest) but Sent gets hit (not his drones, just him) and they disappear.
Also, I’m calling it. Strider- Oroborous- Tag out. Best power up tag. ALA Hsienko and everyone else who can do it…
Sentinels drone assist is slower.

I read that drones come out faster so you can make it into a legit block strong as an assist. If they fix it to where drones stay out even on hit then for sure I’m putting big papa pump back in!
Drones are faster, causing absolute guard. Makes the stupid mixups harder to do, and less time to do it. It’s still one of the best assists tho

Uhh, everyone already does 80-100% in regular mvc3 already. Nothing special 
Plus, everyone has less health, except Arthur in umvc3, so combos hit harder across the board now.
Ok so since Armando isn’t having casuals tonight, I’m gonna see if my buddy and I can host on wednesday night…THIS IS NOT FOR SURE, I have to check with him and post back, IF we are able to host, who all would be down to come (Dobson and Southern in Mesa)? We only have one setup (PS3, AE) and it’s not on a monitor, its on a 46’ SONY Bravia, so if we could get a setup for MvC3, all would be good. Again, I need to check with him, but I am curious to see what the headcount would look like.
I could also bring a 19’ Samsung LCD TV, again, it’s not a monitor, but it’s something.

It does. I already had plans for that night, most of the west side guys felt Haz’s place is for Capcom games and were kind of put off by the possible switch to BB. The east side guys have been MIA to anything other than east side events (aside from a couple players).
We have tournaments and gatherings every week, with 10-20 people each time, excluding a good portion of the east side players, but uneducated comments like this and the one below are what keeps the AZ MK scene from going to Capcom gatherings.
And Capcom fans delude themselves into thinking they’re the only scene that matters.

Ok I’m officially hype for SFxT after watching that Gamescom trailer. The system looks great, but the Physics still look a little funky. And the bear fart was cringe worthy… Marticio you gonna rep Bob with me?
Uneducated? I’m just going off what I saw at hazems, 2 dedicated people show up, expecting a lot more. BB was never going to replace mk9. No one ever said it was, unless the games didn’t bring the numbers. BB players wanted to prove they belong. They showed up, they wanted stream exposure, etc. Mk9 didn’t show up at all. They just proved they aren’t as hardcore or serious, as far as I’m concerned. You can call us uneducated all you want. Actions speak louder than words. No one showed, they were invited to come and promote their scene, and failed hard.
Capcom scene thinks only their scene matters? Gtfo with that noise man. Last time I checked, Capcom players invited bb and mk9 players. Last time I checked, Capcom players host most major tourneys that run ggxx, bb, mk9, tekken tourneys. It’s always the Capcom crews that provide tourneys for non Capcom games. But Yeah, like you say, only we matter. /sarcasm.
We are about the scene, trying to build, not gonna turn players away. We gonna support any scene that is worth a Damn.
You can make all the excuses you want. Bottom line, mk9 scene dropped the ball, they coulda came out big and make people take notice and ensure new tourneys.
Making drones faster and therefore into a tight blockstring is a nerf. Screws up any left right mixups because now they just have to block the first one. It can still be hard, but now it’s no better than Doom Beam or Akuma assist since it comes out slower. I don’t think he deserved that nerf at all, to be honest.
Strange definitely looks cool to play around with, my first impression was that he looks like a mix of Magneto, Phoenix, and maybe Trish.
Pretty excited, I plan on scrapping my whole team except for Zero so we’ll see what happens. Might try to pick a zoning character this time instead of a pure rushdown team.
It’s a nerf, but that’s an example of a good nerf, imo. That assist lasted entirely too long, and the fact it wasn’t absolute guard, made it dumber. It still controls good space, and still gives you lots of time to setup some bs options.
It’s still better than doom assist. And being as good as alums assist is a compliment haha.
