I’ve thought about it for a while and Sabre does bring a strong point from switching consoles and having to deal with the lag difference. At first I thought I was choking against Sabre when I was dropping my links on the 360, but then I remembered that I was doing fine on the PS3 like 20 mins before. Plus the fact that I never play on the 360, I guess there really is a big difference in consistency.

As far as I know/done in past tournies… Top 4 players (placement wise from previous tournie) are to be seeded. Just becuz Jake plays vs. Dan all the time doesn’t mean he has to be seeded. Unless Jake has placed top 4 consistently. Has he? Nope.
That’s like sayin’ me n Joe should never have to play each other in MvC3 early/beginning of a tournie. Do we play regularly? Yes. Do we get top 4? Nope. Not even remotely… this aint MvC2. And even in MvC2, if I took say 64th last tournie but was top 4 every other tournie (while Joe, Matt, Jared and Scott took top 4) I am no longer seeded for the current tournie, becuz they may have leveled up beyond me. Unless we were doing a league (point system ala EVO which guarantees seeds, which we are not) and if I got placed vs. any of them… tough shit. We gotta battle.
See above. Not too sure about majors… In this case I’d say: Locals vs locals and Cali vs cali (Etc) should be seeded from themselves based on standings… INITIALLY. Once you encounter each other anywhere in the bracket? Ya gotta fight. No more seeding. Yer gunna fight eventually.
