Jin is so much fun, Im excited to learn more tekken characters but Jin is a blast.

Lol he was the only character I put ANY time into yesterday so when you kept picking him in our 2v2’s we were screwed!

so Juri is mad nice. 400 damage off of easy hit confirm, good range, good speed pokes, anywhere on screen, and even more in the corner.
Also, Kazuya just feels right, and for now, doing tekken style crouch dashing as opposed to uppercuts is enough of an execution change to keep me interested.

Also, Ogre. Holy shitsnacks. So, his charge move can be dash cancelled after only 5 frames, so when i do extended combos, it actually feels like i’m meterless FADCing, just like Viper. Plus…Meteor Smashes. Doing it for the Skrull queen.

It looks like tournament organizers are currently banning gems because they’re to hard to select. I’m curious if this will be the norm… I actually enjoy the customization gems add but I totally agree their implementation is bad.

Stock gems should be only thing allowed. Great idea, horrid execution/money making scheme.

Tourney mode won’t work well enough. The simple fact that there are gems designed to counter other gems, is the nail in the coffin

Someone has my copy of SSF4:AE. It says “Reece” hand written on the disc. It was left in someones XBOX. Lemme know…

there should just have been a per load out for every character in the game. like each character has only 3 per load outs and thats it, you cant customize at all. I think it would have been a better system that way.

customizing adds way to many variables.

That’s basically the way it is if you leave all of the gems at their factory default settings. Each character has 2 different sets.

Is there any way to disable the stupid baby auto combos? I’ve been messing around with Julia’s kara throws and just realized you can’t do them with FP/RH because of that shit. And strangely, Julia has two kara throws off her medium buttons. MK doesn’t take her very far and MP actually karas backwards. Her FP looks like it should kara her really far, which would be awesome since she moves so slow she can’t tic throw.

ive been fucking around with her a lil bit as well. I thought there were no kara throws in this game?

There are as long as they involve MP/MK pretty much. I don’t see a way to get rid of that stupid shit. Hopefully that is an option they can add in at some point. seems a real shame to me.
