Really cool stuff man thanks. Yeah I need to learn to keep an eye on how to counter them. Right now I just pick items that I think is going to make my character better but not items to help stop them. Going to have to keep an eye on the scoreboard more often.

I’m not level 30 yet so I only have tier 1 runes =\

Corki is my best character because I can annoy and harass pretty well and his build is not that difficult. But him vs Cayt is stupid haha.

I started buying more wards and putting them down more often even though I don’t jungle, since I play mostly bot with Corki, I use it to stop possible Ganks or Dragon.

Thx for the help man!

I’ve been definitely keeping my eye on Rolento. I’m a pretty big fan of him just as a character. His pokes seem really strong and he is what looks to be -2 after his first rekka, which does tons of block stun. So I think tag canceling that move alone is going to make him a very legit character.

Skull girls I’m willing to try, but I just don’t think I will have the interest to really dig in on.

I may pick up Skullgirls; SFxT drops on the 6th next month and SG is supposed to come out later in the month. Painwheel looks like a strong character; I’d either play her or Peacock (old-timey Merry Melodies character FTW). Also, Fillia is like a rip-off of Milla and Eddie (living hair, huh?) so I might try her.

My beef with the little I seen with rolento, is he seems rather slow. He’s normally fast. We’ll see

I thought so too, but everyone seems kind of slow in this game. And some of his rolls and flips seem pretty fast compared to his slowish walk speed. His jab pressure alone makes me really want to give him a try though.

Lili looks the most interesting for me. Ibuki looks kind of boring, I’m worried about feeling obligated.

Games at my place tonight at 11 i have one setup and one stick so bring setups and sticks. Hmu on the cell so i know who is coming 4803096085

Yoshi is one of my favorite fighting game characters ever.

I’ll probably give in to Dana and play Kuma/Zangief though.

If Hugo is actually viable, I’m all over that. Then, whoever else I like. Interested in trying out most of the Tekken characters.

Heyo Calixar, let me know when you want to get in some matches online. Post or PM me!

I love you. Marry me.

(no homo)

I saw that too! I was full of WAT.

So hey, where are we supposed to get Fightsticks in AZ/Phoenix? I haven’t been able to find a place that really sells them.

Fallout games has a chun li te-s for like 130 brand new, and a regular te-s for same price.

Tempe location had the chun li.

Armando, where did you say I could get those piss cheap poverty sticks to break apart?

GGs to armando tonight. I know ur not taking SCV to serious, but i learned some new shit playing with you. Im down anytime u wanna play some more. Than goes for anyone else that wants to play.

Wow, SFxT’s color edit mode looks like ass, I thought it was going to be a little more robust than that. I was definitely not expecting a create-a-character SC5 style thing, but for some reason I thought they’d at least let you pick the RGB values of each costume part, as opposed to selecting from four different (boring) colors. I know that it’ll get better after launch with more options, but at this point I feel like they shouldn’t have wasted their time with such a limited feature and put their resources somewhere else, like additional DLC costumes or something.

I honestly wish they didn’t have any character editing beyond presets. These game companies employ artists to make quality designs but I am certain I’m just going to see garbled character colors constantly online. Its a lot like how Valve put enormous effort into making the TF2 classes look immediately distinguishable from any distance and then later shat all over that with character customization.

i dont mind customization, but within reason.

my main thing with 2d fighters…cough blanka wings…cough…rose dress… is the customizations throw off your visual cues and range. it works for the most part in traditional 3d fighters like vf and tekken. but 2d, it sucks sometimes. as for colors, i think color edit is cool, but im afraid of people taking advantage of that shit and try to get their characters to blend in with the background…

Can anyone who’s playing SCV describe to me the timing for Just Guarding? I’ve read several descriptions and but I’m kind of confused and can’t pull it off with any kind of consistency. I know its a short time window like parrying but its hard to tell if I’m close or just way off.
