Flash isn’t supported on mobile browsers anymore. Google Chrome for Android doesn’t even have it. Adobe’s focus is on native apps now.

Hey there AZ. I’m going to be moving from the frozen wasteland of CT over to Phoenix within the month and wanted to gather some info from you guys before I do so(hopefully to avoid looking like a moron later on).
- I know nothing about the scene in this area so I was wondering what the most played games are.
- Is there interest in KoF or Skullgirls?(I’m pretty much considering these two to be the main games I play)
- How often/where are most of the casual/local tourneys? (I’m aware of hAZbats since it’s right on the front but is there anything else I should know about?)
Alternative is already here (HTML5), it’s just a matter of more websites adopting it. ex: http://www.nikebetterworld.com/(check out product page, real cool) Great thing about it is that it works on any phone, that’s why Apple never adopted Flash in the first place.
Since I’m just now upgrading to Android it’s like nothing changed lol! When I had iOS, 100% of the websites I browsed never needed flash for videos or anything so it was never really a big deal.
There’s a SC5 tournament at UAT tomorrow. Casuals start at 1pm, tournament starts at 3pm.
- AE, UMVC3, SC5 and MK are the main games. You’ll find a bigger scene for AE and UMVC than you will for the others. The SC5 scene is about 20 deep at the moment, and MK is down to about a half dozen or so.
- Neomaxico runs a KoF stream every Thursday on the east side (Mesa). They have a Facebook page.
- Haz is biweekly, SC5 has biweekly events starting within the next week or two and KoF has weekly events as I just mentioned. Others host casuals weekly or randomly.
Cool, I wouldn’t mind playing SF and Marvel again. Knowing myself I’ll probably play those and KoF for now (since it’s too hard to decide on just one)

Hey navi you play LoL, I need ppl to teach me how to play it. The community is a cesspool of shit and hate like the srk forums. I main Corki right now, but trying Ziggs, Graves, Shen, Rammus and Volibear.
I’m trying to learn diff characters for diff situations.
Corki: AD Ranged Carry
Ziggs: AP Pusher
Rammus: Jungle/Tank
Shen: Support/Tank
Voli: Bruiser/Tank <-- EPIC FAIL
Support: Alistair??
Any hints in terms of gameplay, Items and runes for these characters. I check out mobafire and solomid but they are more like just use these items.
I know how you feel about the community, it is really bad. I have to listen to my friend day in/out get frustrated with his team on ranked b/c people do the craziest things (they’ll even try to blame you while they sit on multiple deaths after feeding).
With your carries, you want to be playing bottom lane with a support. Focus on last hitting and farming until laning phase is over. NEVER overextend. Harass where you can, but don’t trade hits especially when it’s not in your favor. Conserve your mana for fights. After the laning phase, you will want to farm up (ideally 240-320 minions at the end) but again, keep in mind not to overextend. Wait until someone initiates, enemy has blown their cd’s and then you go in to mop everybody up. Target the enemy carry and/or squishiest first.
Tanks are pretty straightforward. Pick someone off out of place for your team to focus on.
-Rammus’s Q to run into somebody, taunt them and pull them towards your team. Ult in a team fight.
-With Shen, Take Teleport and Flash so you can be everywhere on the map. Watch for opportunities to ult, the best is to turn a 1v1 into a 2v1. His E goes thru walls.
-For Alistar, you want to use his special effect to walk through someone and ram them into range for your teammates. He is played bottom lane with a carry.
-Volibear, his item build is HP to maximize the effect of his W. Use his Q to initiate and pull someone out of place. You can play him Tanky DPS or straight tank. He can solo top pretty well and jungle too.
Ziggs is pretty new. I didn’t pick him up (my latest was Ahri) but from what I can tell, his cd’s are long, so with him, you will have to be good with your skillshot.
In general, you will want to build items according to their team. If they are AD heavy for example, armor and AP, magic resist. With carries, if there’s a lot of tanky people, madred’s bloodrazor is a must. What you can do is look at the scoreboard and see who has the most minion kills and/or kills. That person will likely be the biggest threat. Counter build that guy. There’s ways to build offensive and defensive at the same time. For example, Hexdrinker has AD and MR on it, Zhonya’s Hourglass has Ar/AP, and Abyssal Scepter has both AP and MR.
A lot of people don’t do this at lower elo and random games, but getting wards and putting them in the right spots can mean a big difference between winning and losing. Shen’s teleport works on wards as does the spell Teleport.
If you’re in lane, call for a jungle gank when they’re pushed up to your tower. If you’re the jungler, gank when you have red (ideally top lane is best to gank as solo top needs your protection the most) don’t gank mid unless they’re really pushed up and you think their Flash is blown. Bottom should be able to handle themselves, only go down there if the enemy pushed up to them. Otherwise you want to get dragon asap.
For runes, I like to take Armor/Yellows and MR/blues on Tanky DPS and tanks. Red runes and 1st quintessence should enhance whatever your character does. Graves for example is AD Carry, so either AD marks and quintessence or Armor Penetration. The latter is more popular because it can last you all game. It really comes down to character though. Volibear and Shen for example, get stronger with HP so investing in HP yellows and quints are a good idea.
When does Skull Girls drop?
Muji:, i’ve been following skullgirls over the last few months, and i’m pretty excited about it. Everyone who’s played it, i heard, really likes it.

I’m starting to consider playing Heihachi in SFxT. I find his Kai o Ken attack hilarious.
Yoshi is definitely on myteam. Tossup between Cody and rolento to team with him. I may make an alternate team with nina. Her kick pokes look so good.
I’m excited for skullgirls. I’m not a fan of an all female cast(mostly), but the mechanics and ideas implemented were fun, from what I played. I like how in the middle of the match, you can change it straight to training mode, on the fly. Pretty neat
