I didn’t say you shouldn’t play Heal Bot. I just said it was unnecessary. I personally mess around with different builds from game to game. Just passing on some knowledge.

The leaderboards are glitched. Ronimo has recognized that this is their fault and not the player(s). Hell, even stats can end up glitched. One guy apparently gained around 400 deaths from one match where he died only a couple times.

You have to be healing by at least +11 before the extra Solar from healing kicks in. I posted this earlier on page two. lol

Where are you getting the figures for that?

I tested it in some Practice matches. Normally you get 1 Solar per heal. If you have Dreams of Greed (+solar for heal), then you get 2 Solar per heal when your heals start doing +11.

So you can play the game with a stick. Demo seems pretty fun; although you are stuck with Lonestar as far as character selection goes. Don’t know how I feel about the bull ability.

Bull ability makes me rage. Not because it is good, but because stupid people keep pushing kills away from me!

Bull is only useful in non-retarded hands, best use is for escape obviously and pushing opponents into your turret. Focusing on pistol or dynamite for damage is your best bet.

So Toddler and I need a third, we actually played a team this evening and it went 40 minutes with our other ally switching to three different people and bots. There wasn’t much we could do in the situation and it was annoying to say the least, although I think we did well considering they counter-picked up from last game.

Lol it is funny playing Yuri and getting double and triple teamed by salty players, usually have to try and out kite them.
It’s a long boring match when we have like no good DPS

Do you know about the mine exploit versus certain turrets? Yuri can float out of range of turrets and drop mines which will blow up and hit the turret, but it only works on certain turrets (mines are not supposed to actually blow up when they touch turrets). Even though the maps are supposed to be exact mirrors, this usually only works on one side of the map. I know that the exploit exists, but I don’t know which turrets are affected specifically. Just something to look out for.

My yuri is gonna get deadly bruv.

Is the healing of droids taken into consideration with those numbers for the Gain Extra Solar From Healing? Thats how I get major solar the entire match. Heal everything, not just my teammates. Im usually healing 6 to 8 droids plus a teammate or two.

Anyhow, I had a pretty fun match with Voltar last night, I actually got a few kills. The bad dudes had destroyed one of our turrets, and to get to the next one they had to go up a few steps into what was basically a box. They had to go up the steps else they couldnt hit the turret and the only way out was to go back down the steps. So I would drop a heal bot on a step, back up and watch the show. The turret got most of the kills but I got 2 or 3.

edit - it blows man, I actually get invites to play this with people but Im never on when that happens. =(

Sorry I couldn’t join you for games the other night dirzzt - we had 6 local people in a private game.
It was pretty damn fun though, and I got to troll everyone with Yuri, which never gets old to me.

Dreams of Greed doesn’t care about who/what you are healing. It only cares about how much you are healing for. Even still, it looks at every heal as a separate case. One heal beam might heal 6 things, but if you’re beam is not giving at least +11, then you are still only getting 1 Solar for each of those six things. At least, I am almost certain this is how it works.

Yeah, if I just stand still and heal whatever is in front of me I only get solar for one thing. If I move around a bit I hit lots of things, you know, teammates who are fighting, droids who are fighting other droids, droids fighting a turret, I get lots of solar. Usually after the first exchange I can unlock heal bot and upgrade its cool down. Sometimes I get greedy and try to build up more solar so I can unlock its attack too but I think its better to just wait a bit so I can at least get that thing out there for the next exchange.

What I do is just follow some droids as they go and drop a heal bot when they start to fight baddie droids. By the time the fight is over more of our droids are coming. By the time we get to the turret there are two sets fighting the turret and another set walking towards it. If things are going good teammates are there as well (hopefully one has been with me since the start) so I get to heal them (if they’re fighting), the bots that are fighting the turrets, and the bots that are walking towards the turret. This is how every match I played last night went down and the matches the night before.

My teams have been pretty solid for being random as I have only lost 2 or 3 matches, I think. Two of those I dont even count as one of them I entered and 4 seconds later it was over and the other my team was bots and my enemies were human. I put up a good fight when my team was bots but I really couldn’t do much but defend like crazy. It was pretty sad when there was only one turret left. It felt super hopeless.

edit - I tried to use the monkey yesterday in a match but I kept getting destroyed. Im not really sure what im suppose to do with him. I got disconnected and I never used him again.

Yeah, you definitely can get a ton more Solar from actively trying to heal people. But, with Dreams of Greed, it doesn’t matter how many people you heal, it still doesn’t give a boost unless your beam does +11 HP or more. You are getting all that Solar sans-boost.

For Yuri, he sucks on the jungle map Ribbit VI (I think is the name), because it is much harder for him to get out of the fight. My friend plays him by staying out of fights and dropping mines in the covered areas. He gets the Extra Mine Lifetime and Faster Mine Cooldown, then he spams like his life depends on it.

So, I’ve played around 150 matches now. I literally lost 17 out of my first 25 matches…it was terrible. Since then, I have lost less than 10 times in 125 matches. Of course, sometimes my Win% goes down even when I win matches…lol. This game has the worst stat saving ever.

Monkey gets arped late game. Once you unlock the +125 and the extra hit dmg lens go that route. especially vulnerable to leon bruv.

BUUUUT jumping in the middle of a brawl from above is soo much fun. plus few players will play chicken at the begining so the fear of dying is much less early game.

I played a match like an hour ago. My team got fucked up. I got in a few minutes after it started but it looked grim right from the get go. Right as I got the the upgrade station I hear “your turret is under attack” so I buff up and go check it out. There was two bad dudes and a host of droids, the flying ones that look like moths and the little walking ones. Im not sure what my teammates were up to but I think they were up on another level fighting the one bad dude that wasn’t in front of me. My teammates would get killed then run right back up to fight that one dude some more while I defend our turrets. Yeah, the bad dudes just ran through me and got a fast win.

edit - I played a pretty whack match just a bit ago. Im not sure what either team was doing but I think they were just trying to beat each other up, fuck destroying turrets. My teammates would do their best to avoid me and the bad guys, and the bad guys would only fight and chase after me and my teammates till we got to our turret. Once we got there the bad guys would just take off. After a couple deaths I said fuck it and went to the lower floor and followed some droids. All I had was heal bot as I picked that first instead of Greedy Hands (whatever its called) this time. Anyhow, I amassed a droid army and we destroyed the two turrets and made it all the way to their base, did a little damage then I got killed.

It took a while after that to finish off the bad dudes as they defended the hell out of there base but we won.

Mine’s are match dependant but really a secondary.
Do not boost his lasers dmg.
Piggy bank then get tractor beam and stay near the turrets.
Then in order i usually go solar tree, extended beam, movement rate, beam speed upgrade.

Side note beam hit speed fully upgraded can lock half the cast in place itself and 100% of them in place with time warp.
With time warp snare upgrade you can drag anyone anywhere you want for the duration.

Drag into or away from turrets or allies etc.

Bombs are really a secondary utility if they are staying extra cautious i’ll put a point or two into them earlier.

Picked up the game last night, only got to play a few practices, I plan to mess around with the robot a bit and see how I like him.

edit: So far(vs bots) I like the robot. I start piggy bank, and buy the bite and add the immobilize to it, pretty good at securing kills(on bots). Then I get the max life raiser and move speed buff and farm max HP all day. Then the self destruct and all the + damage on the bite and self destruct and go for mega burst!

AWwwwwww Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah
