AVerMedia Device Thread -News and Help here!

I’ve personally never seen that problem before, I’ll find out for you.

Windows 7 Movie Maker I guess is your only choice?

I’m trying to remember what I used to use…

I think it’s called Handbrake? Can’t remember. May be worth a shot, though.

If you’re just looking for something to cut a long recording up into individual matches with, then Avidemux should be relatively easy to use. It’s free and cross-platform, which should help as well.

Of course, there are a million other programs that do practically the same thing and more, but there’s probably another thread here for that kind of discussion.

My device just went on the fritz and starting blinking again and not recording, so I think I’ll wind up filling out that form after all.

Handbrake once you get past the learning curve is one of the best programs to cut video.

Hey, I sent in that ticket and sent you an email just a few seconds ago, figured I’d post here just to let you know.

Hey man, just wanted you to know I got your email!

Can someone give me a straight answer about the HDMI passthrough on the c875 (which I own) and the C985 (I think this is the one my friend has), does it add any lag? I think Jaxel said it does, so for streaming you need to split the signal to another monitor via a powered splitter/amp FIRST…but other people say its lagless. I suppose I can devise a way to test this myself but I’m really busy. Thanks in advance.

Hi Mizuki,

I have a question regarding the Game Capture HD II. Is there a way to get it to work on European power outlets aside from shady converters?

During today’s Pinoy2DFighters_TV stream, me and offcast could get the feed from his LGP to work. In OBS, we kept getting a red screen and in RECentral, it would display the image for a bit before saying “Out of Range”. We tested the rest of the gear, it wasn’t the HDMI splitter nor the HDFury, so we assumed that it was a problem with the cables from the HDFury to the LGP (long story short, we switched to a friends Elgato).

My question now is, has anyone experienced anything similar to this? And is our diagnosis of the issue correct?

I’m not too familiar with European power supplies. Is it the voltage or the plug that is different?

Did you use the Stream Engine in conjunction? It’s still in beta, but will be released soon.

Nope.

LGP on its own right now does not support Direct Show complaint programs, it will in the coming update.

I’m just chiming in to say that I’d love to see C127 support for Linux and/or Mac systems. I recognize that this is not necessarily a huge market, and it’s a decent amount of engineering effort to make happen, but just wanted to chime in requesting it.

With the new OBS refactoring, I’m planning on joining the project to take on some of the engineering effort for the *nix ports, and I’d love my C127’s to work; as it stands, my only capture option for testing (and obviously use) is going to be my BMIP, and… well, BlackMagic drivers, ugh. I’ve always loved how Aver goes for no-nonsense drivers that just work, and I’d love to have a Linux/Mac supported card that I can recommend.

I’d love to get rid of Windows entirely; streaming’s the last thing I actually use it for.

Both. Most European power supplies are 230V and the plug consists of two pins.

Judging on your reply, I would need a power converter + plug converter? :stuck_out_tongue:
