What did they expect when he goes nuts for half the movie, and the other half, he fights characters that pale compared to their movie counterparts. We get human Blackheart, instead of a demon, and they made Mephisto into just a regular Satan type character.

Any ideas for enemies in the next one? I mean, Thanos is practically a given, but anyone else you guys have in mind? Some Dormamms, or 'Neto? I actually think that Thanos/A proper Dr. Doom would make an epic tag team.

I seen the movie last night. It was better than I thought it would be. Had some funny moments (that point break reference had me rolling) and the characters played off each other well. Though I feel like Ironman was the focal point a bit too much and widows “badassness” was too forceful but overall the movie was enjoyable. With that said I can’t wait for the sequel (“Power!”) and I’m hoping to see Pym and Sub Mariner added.
Its all dependent on how they go about the next solo movies. I hope Thor 2 sticks with Asgardian stuff and keeps the Avengers tie-ins to a minimal or at best none at all. I figure Captain America is gonna have Fury, Black Widow, and Hawkeye involved as a supporting cast. From what I’ve heard about Iron Man 3, its pretty much gonna be its own thing like Iron Man 1 was. Hopefully between all that, we get some Doc Strange, Luke Cage(hopefully a full on Heroes for Hire instead), and possible Guardians of the Galaxy.
If somehow Marvel manages to get some back alley deals going with other studios in terms of cooperating, that would be awesome.
But then Wiki says that BW will star in her own movie (that it was considered to film sometime after *Avengers *was done with filming. lol
Watching the flick, all the while I was thinking: *“Wouldn’t it be awesome if Wesker & Kl’rt just started kicking teeth in all of a sudden?” *But then I came to my senses and said ‘nah’…

Saw it for a 3rd time and went for the Real 3D this time, I liked the 3D version better then the 2D, the picture oddly seemed clearer and brighter in 3D, instead of the other way around. Seeing “my guy” at the end was much better with the 3D. Cant wait to see how they do the next movie :party:
Gotta say I’m a bit disappointed with Tizoc, he’s had this thread for a year and not one tag line for it. Could have at least gone with the obvious “Avengers Movie thread: Some assembly required”.
Seeing this movie again tomorrow, first time was in a packed theater, laughs made some lines hard to hear. Of course, I was laughing just as much, would have missed it anyway.

Is it possible Coulson isn’t really dead? It would kind of make sense for the movies to use him as Vision, but he was saying before his lights went out that the team needed something to piss them off for them to work together, Fury could have just gone with this and had the medics “call it” over the radio to make sure it was heard.

The next villain will be Fin Fang Foom. That is who The Other is. While watching the scene between him and Loki, where he slaps him in the side, I thought it was smoke in the background, but after watching the fuck out of it in 3D Imax, I am convinced that is a tail. A HUUUUUUUUUUGE tail. Slithering by. Fantastic way to get the Mandarin in finally, too. Hell, we could see FFF as an Iron Man villain for all I know. But I am VERY positive that’s who The Other is.
And during the scene where Thor shows up, and takes Loki. I may be reading too much into it, but there were two ravens that flew by and made some noise. Huginn and Muninn, perhaps? My vote is yes.
Coulson was just listed as “down”, by Fury. Then medics rush in. And he went and got them cards. Perhaps with Coulson’s permission? There are a million ways to explain him surviving that, most of which involve Fury lying to them. He’s popular enough to keep around. ESPECIALLY as the Vision. Hell, the fans seem to want it enough.
Also, I liked the Civil War setup right at the end, with the NY Senator blaming heroes for all the mess and damage and trouble.
I need a gif of Thor attacking his shawarma at the end there. Jeez, he didn’t fight Loki that violently.
I loved how Thanos was listed in the end credits as Man #1. Quite. fucking. true. Don’t expect him to be a villain until at LEAST the third movie. Second movie will likely be him getting his hands on the Cube, and the 2nd villain falling, so it will be a mixed happy/bad ending. Third movie will be Thanos using the Cube, or finally obtaining it if he didn’t in the 2nd movie. Even if he loses in the third movie, it will setup the Infinity Gauntlet, which I am thinking will be down the line, and probably a separate movie, or even series of movies (Thanos Quest into Infinity Gauntlet). But that’s all just my best guess

i think dr.strange if done right could be really cool. but id honestly want a dark pg-13 closer to r kinda movie. i feel like he’s a dark character even though marvel wants you to believe he’s a spider-man/tony stark kinda jokster. nah mutherfucker he’s defending our realm through magik…that shits serious.
That was my other theory. I’ve watched the movie like 40 times now, I shit you not. t’s DEFINITELY snake like, and slithering along the ground, but not as big as one of those robo fuckers (who could be a member of Fang’s race for all we know).

plus it kinda makes no sense. The lame ass Whitauri army (really, you were conquering Earth with like 60 troops? and like 12 flying dragons? Fucking Hawkeye killed half your troops, what would you have done vs the army. Or a nuke. REALLY???) was elsewhere, I assumed. It’s not like Thanos was on the other side of the portal. He is all fucking alone. At his pimp rock in the middle of nowhere. I still have no idea why he has another fucker with him. That’s the baffling part. Thanos should be talking to himself, or Death. Not to a lackey. Best he had was a robot occasionally. I mean, TECHNICALLY it could be Annihilus, but I dunno if Marvel is willing to throw him at the audience. Although the Guardians of the Galaxy say otherwise…hrmmm…
