Ya I’m glad that Marvel at least hasn’t tried to combine their universes like DC.
HELLO 42 OTHER SUPERMANS, I AM SUPERMAN.
Superman is terrible.

Idris Elba would have made a good Black Panther, with his acting chops and his overall size as well but they have him playing Heimdall in Thor’s movie.
Maybe Michael Jai White.
eh funny. Reading the Wiki for The Incredible Hulk gives me some idea, but Ruffalo being the Hulk in a solo flick sounds way better.
Wiki that shit, cuz I dunno lol. I think he may have taken the same infinity formula that Fury had.
ummm playing another marvel characters means nothing. what are we forgettin chris evans shenanigans already?
yeah but whats the likely hood of needing to see alot of heimdall…that nigga is a glorified doorman(and suddenly him being black just made alot of sense).
… Am I the only one secretly disappointed Zero wasn’t in this movie? Or Ryu?
The movie is still like 4.45 stars. I just wanted some MvC action going on. Like Ryu is walking through Manhattan and helps.
No. I’m actually quite happy this movie wasn’t lame.
Heimdall is the man, I expect to see him throw down in Thor 2. If Bubbles comes knocking on Asgard’s door for his power glove, Heimdall will be the first one to throw hands.
I thought the THC action between Cap+Tony, Hulk+Thor, and Cap+Thor was pretty awesome. I was also calling out every SHIELD SLASH and UNIBEAM in my head lol.
Sorry I haven’t been keeping up with this thread, but I just watched The Avengers recently and didn’t want to spoil anything for myself. I haven’t read too much of what happened before, but just sort of as a general comment to the movie… did anyone else feel that it seemed kind of lackluster? I watched the previous films for each of the Avengers, but I couldn’t help but feel like the movie felt kind of rushed. It could’ve easily been an hour longer, and I honestly think that would’ve actually made it better.
I also understand it’s the first movie of many and that future Avengers movies will be more coherent since the groundwork has all already been laid, but I felt like this movie moved way too quickly, both in terms of plot and action.
Don’t get me wrong, it was still a good movie and I still enjoyed it, but did anyone else feel like it was too rushed / too short / too varied?
No. Not at all.
nigga could be lookin at his shoes and thanos throws him off that fuckin rainbow bridge and no one would even know who played him.
Like I said, in fairness I’ve never read a DC comic. At least…I don’t THINK I have.
i mean its one thing to not read it but to not heard of crisis on infinite earths is just ludicrous.
I believe this.
Because the TV, internet and “rap” music has led me to believe that black people love their “kicks”.
lol why is their quotes on rap?
I’ve NEVER followed DC comics actually. I only knew about the multiple Supermans from that SNES beat 'em up, only knew Bane was an actual Batman villain when someone pointed it out in Batman and Robin(?), had to Wikipedia The Flash to know that there was more than one guy who had been him and there’s a lot of people and things I’ve never heard of.
Hell, I only started following Marvel, X-Men, and comics in general (and even then only kind of) a couple of months ago and I’m WAY behind on stuff. While it’s probably forgivable I didn’t know about people like Hellion and even Bishop, I’d never even heard of Quicksilver, and didn’t even KNOW that Magneto had a kid.
Loved it. Going to see it again tonight.
Because I felt it would make my post seem more “white”.
lol you’re from canada…its always more white.
