Avatar: The Legend of Korra - Book 4

There’s lots of (might want to google this following phrase) cbr and cbz viewers.

Or just use winrar

.cbz = ZIP
.cbr = RAR

Rename the extensions on the left as the ones on the right, open with winrar, and you’re good to go!

Thanks it worked.

Just finished watching season 2 and damn it as good…didn’t much care for ang jobbing but meh:(

Anyhow while I love the series there is at least 5 massive plot holes bothering me right now that I find annoying:

  1. The fire navy invaded the water kingdom in spite of the water kingdom being surrounded by the ocean…first derp.
  2. Ang can bend the air but never restricted the air flow to a opponent to suffocate them temporarily…second derp.
  3. Toph can metal bound, so why didn’t she and the earth benders just surrounded the fire nation and earth bend the foundations of the fire nation and cause it to collapse within…third derp.
  4. Kitarra is a talented enough water bender who can bend water even of it’s within a enclosure such as her jar, why didn’t she ever just splash her jar on someone and bend the water that seeped into her opponents pours and KO them by freezing them from the inside out…4th derp.
  5. Fire benders can chanel heat and outwardly express the energy of the heat as flame or in some cases lighting. Well if the fire is the result of the energy of the heat extending and expanding past the fire benders body, why didn’t any fire bender ever think to just disrupt the flow of heats energy at either their fist or kick so that their melee attacks would have the concussive impact of a small explosion…5th derp.

Why are you so violent bro?

[spoiler=“Everything below is spoiler. Go watch season 3 and come back to these so called ‘derps’.”]

  1. They aren’t that powerful bro. Ask yourself, what’s easiest to control: a bathtub of water, a river, or the freaking ocean. I think the more of anything you try to bend the harder it is to control it. No different than a man lifting weights. Why else do you think that Katara gets wicked with her whip water. Sure she could DBZ and draw all the moisture in the air to her and fire out a water spirit bomb but, she can’t. Not to mention that fire fucking hurts. It’s way easier to kill a man with fire.

  2. It’s a kid’s show. How fucked up would that be? It might be possible but we are talking about the same “HEY GUYS LET’S HAVE FUN” Ang right?

  3. Toph was the first metal bender silly. They made that abundantly clear in the show. No one was on her level yet. She had to look really deep within to make the connection that iron is melted earth in the first place and that was under immense pressure. If she weren’t kidnapped she probably would have learned years later.

  4. It’s a kid’s show. Why are you so violent bro? I also don’t think that she could even function at that level until after learning how to blood bend and she doesn’t like doing that so…

  5. I think someone did. The assassin with the third eye fired a beam that caused an explosion. He may have been the only one to successfully figure out how to concentrate their raw fire power (tee hee) into a combustible blast. [/spoilers]

The show had some dark scenes, and it isnt like it would be shown on-screen lol.

Is that 3rd eye fire bender in S3…cause I cant seem to remember any fire bender causing a blast from a strike. Although why no one else figured it out is a bit unusual since it would give them a tremendous tactical advantage…they would impossible to beat H2H. I suppose it being a kids show does nerf their abilities quite a bit.

Also I just realized…the air benders are the most broken of all the benders. Air benders bend the air…meaning the earths atmosphere and all the gases thereby in. Ang could just create some deadly gas cloud and smug the fire nation in it lol. Also was anyone else scratching their heads as to why ang never pressured the air surrounding his opponents to keep them pinned down on spot and unable to move. Considering he is able to pressure the air to propel himself to great heights and temporary flight, I never got why whenever he fought someone he didnt just lock them down on spot with pressured air pulling down on them.

Because it’s a kids show stupid.

The air nation definitely has some killing techniques but Aang just never showed them. The scene where Aang finds Tenzin’s body at the air temple, there was a whole room of dead fire bender skeletons with just Tenzin sitting there. Which means air bender monks were probably pretty awesome when it comes to quality vs. quantity, but just the fact that they’re monks and recruit new members like monks I assume, they probably had the smallest and weakest military force.

edit: And yea it’s a kids show so no need to take it seriously.

Probably for the same reason the new series takes place 70+ years after the original–Uncle Iroh’s voice actor passed away some time ago. Out of respect, the role of Uncle Iroh will never be given to another actor.

Someone tell me… was Iroh’s voice actor also the voice of Aku from Samurai Jack?

Iroh had 2 voice actors. Mako (the first) died during the series’ production which means the role was already given to another actor. And yes, Mako also did the voice for Aku (wikipedia isn’t hard).

Thanks for the info, but shut that wikipedia shit up. It was a simple question that probably took all of 10 seconds to answer. C’mon, son.

Just stop. You’re fucking retarded. You are trying to over-analyze everything and its just making you look like an ass hole.

Sorry :(. Just sayin’ though…

I’m just pointing out some holes, I love the show but those things just came across my mind when watching the end of season 2…I’m also confused as to why kitarra didn’t get killed when she used her water to stuff out zulas lighintg, like both bitches should have been fried lol.

That’s not a plot hole tho. A plot hole is an irreconcilable plot element. Those are just you over thinking a children’s show.

They are not massive plot holes.

  1. For years the Fire Nation failed to invade the Northern water tribe, Zhao thought things would be different as after ransacking the underground library he found away to neutralise the water benders powers by killing the water tribe. That he attempted to invade the water tribe isn’t a plot hole, it is his character’s nature. Hubris and a limited understanding of the forces he was dealing with. If I remember things correctly Iroh warned him that things could fuck up.

  2. In case you didn’t realise he is a monk. He doesn’t eat meat and he has refused to kill the Ozai in the final battle.

  3. She was the only Earth bender at the time.

  4. I think things like that may be difficult in practice. Requires a greater amount of precision and once the water is inside the opponents body their inner Ki may disrupt her ability to manipulate the water. It would explain why they need the help of the moon to bloodbend anyway.

  5. His name is combustion man.
