After watching the anime and watching the trailer again, I don’t understand why they two white people playing Kitara, and Sakka. The Avatar doesn’t look that Asian either. I remember a movie coming out a while ago that was based on the lives of Asian college students, but all the actors were white. WTF is up with that? Zuko looks Indian though, but I thought the Fire Nation was supposed to take after the Chinese.

Avatar: Legend of Korra - Avatar Wiki, the Avatar: The Last Airbender resource
Avatar: Legend of Korra is an upcoming animation project of Nickelodeon. This cable television network has confirmed that the project is currently staffing up for production, adding that Avatar:The Last Airbender co-creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko are involved and that more information will be forthcoming at a later date. Although there is not much information about this, they would make a new series or season related to the world of Avatar. A few days later, Viacom copyrighted the title: “Avatar:Legend of Korra”. It’s unknown when the series is going to be released for now.
Rumors: The series would be 100 years after the end of “Avatar: The Last Airbender”.
There will be a new character named Meego.
Characters would remember the past (flashbacks), the times of “The Last Airbender”.

As a former huge anime fan who still occasionally watches new anime series hoping to find the exception to the rule, yeah, Avatar is better than 97% of anime.
I seriously hope it’s not 100 years into the future. There are still stories to tell with the current cast.
