That’s so immature.
Really though does it really matter how this movie comes out?
If it’s bad, boo-fucking-hoo, you STILL have access to the original cartoon and you can STILL watch that and enjoy it.
If the movie is good, well good job M. Night.
This movie will hardly affect the cartoon, because as I said you can always go back to it and enjoy it.
ok it mighta been over the top, but it makes me angry because im going to see it regardless of anything that might convince me otherwise. this movie WILL get my $13.50 simply because of the source material, and everytime Hollywood does this it makes me sick. also if you cant tell i think the director is a no talent hack.
It’s the best American Animated series to come out since Batman The Animated Series. ( Well maybe it’s tied with Venture Brothers, but that’s apples and oranges )
Story is great, animation is great, characters are hilarious, and the fights are great too. There’s lots of goofy lol humor and you need to watch this jaunt for reals son.
But yes, regardless, this series is really good. I like how they bring back characters and references to earlier events, but don’t present it in such a way that if you forgot/missed an ep, you can still follow what’s going on.
I’ve only seen one episode. The one where the Venom Suit went into auto mode and beat the crap out of all the villains while Peter was knocked out. That was a grand episode.
I’ve heard nothing but good things about it though.
Yll talking about the new one with the characters having big kiddy-looking eyes right?
You pay $8 I only pay $3.
I’ve only seen three episodes of the show and I enjoyed them. There were no kiddy humor in those that i watched guess because Avatar wasn’t in them.
I’m with the same boat as everybody - why couldn’t they make it an animated movie? What does it have to be Shyamalan? Why couldn’t they use Asian characters? The least they could do was cast Dante Basco. As the actual voice of Zuko, being Asian, AND a dancer, he could pull off whatever they wanted. Not to mention he still looks pretty young.
my brother used to watch it and i paid no attention to it and htought it looked dumb. Like 1.5 years later I was flippin through the channels and saw dat playa ang go in to the “avatar state” and thought it was bad ass. Kinda gave me the same feelings as when Saiyans first started going super. Not really as cool as the first times, but in DBZ going SS was nothing special later down the line. They pretty much make it worth your while EVERY time ang goes avatar state because he rarely does it/knows how to control it. I watched a few more episodes and had a few laughs from its stupid yet funny comedy. Liked it ever since.
After seeing random episodes and hearing people tell me how good it is for the last few years, I finally started to watch the series. I just finished Book 1, and wow. I cant believe I waited so long to watch this. It’s so damn good.
Yes. You potentially waste an opportunity to bring a franchise to the next level, thus producing more products of said franchise. Read: making more episodes.
I have access to “Where the Wild Things Are” book, does it really matter if the film tanks? Of course not, after all i could always read the book again…
but seriously, any movie theater in canada that’s not some 2bit mom ‘n’ pop operation costs at least $11. at famous players they charge $13.50 and the IMAX is fucking $16.50.
obviously matinee’s are cheaper but who the fuck has time/goes to see movies in the middle of the day?
Actually that would be more attributed to performance in the box office, if it rakes in a lot of cash, then what you wrote would happen, but I think a new Avatar series would’ve been made regardless of a live action movie or not.
On that note, I think it could make some good cash, regardless of how the movie itself is (for the record I don’t follow a lot of the movie’s progress).
The authors had said beforehand that they wouldn’t mind making a new Avatar series (albiet NOT a continuation of the Aang storyline), and they have A LOT of various ways to make this new series.
