[]As maxx said, most things are “resolved”, but there are still enough left things open for there to be a season made out of it, especially if a certain someone survived. After all, it’s not like [insert spoilering word here] is going to be easy.

Also FYI, the creators have stated that they are not interested in doing much more than a movie to tie up a few loose ends. They’ve been pretty adamant about not doing another season, but have mentioned interest in a another storyline in the avatar universe possibly with a new avatar.
Much obliged for the responses! And agreed with Damned at hoping the movies never happen. The sticker on the Book 3 Collection did say “The Last Airbender, coming to theatres in Summer 2010.” Boo.
I liked so many things about the show. The twin protagonists (Aang/Zuko), the various cities (Ba Sing Se was delightfully terrifying, like a slighty toned-down version of real world china). My least favorite of the regulars is probably Katara, and even she’s pretty likeable.

I understand that Zuko making the choice he made at Ba Sing Se was necessary to advance the story, but when he FINALLY joined the ranks, his bonding eps with Aang and Sokka were so good, I wish he had joined sooner.
I’m totally avoiding this movie and continuing to work on my own Avatar sequel scripts that I might never finish and that, even if I do finish and find a way to pitch the idea to the creators, will probably never see the light of day.
Dr. B has mastered all four elements countless times over, as well as Blingbending, which is exactly what it sounds like.
In all honesty, as soon as I set eyes on the image of live-action Aang, the first words that came to mind were, "Wow. I’ve seen better Aang cosplayers."
Dev Patel was making such good acting choices…up until this.

Umm is this thread to discuss the movie or can we discuss the cartoon as well? Cuz I’ve started Season 2, and am really enjoying the series.
Though the inconsistencies with the characters is really annoying sometimes.
I was pirating the first few eps because I thought it wouldn’t be worth it.
Turns out it was totally worth it! So, I’m gonna buy the season sets now. Though if Nickelodeon or Hulu had all the eps uploaded, they’d be making mad money.
