Finished watching the movie a few minutes ago, it was so good. Only gripe with it, I wish they explained some things mentioned before.
- Zuko and Ozai’s conversation in the end.
- How Ozai got to become fire lord instead of Iroh.
- How Azulon died.
#'s 2 and 3 would really clear up everything. And something out of curiosity would be Iroh’s trip to the Spirit World. It would have been nice if they showed more of the Old Masters in Ba Sing Se rather than the trio on the air ships. I thought that was ok between all the other scenes, really didn’t feel that great.

but all in all, i have to say, this is (has been?) thee most epic effing awesome weekend in the history of weekends, at least for me:
- dark knight
- avatar finale
- affliction banned (and ufc ufn too i guess)
and ALL WERE ON AT THE SAME TIME AAAHH and i dont even have dvr!!!
One is the only one that can’t be explained.
2. Ozai got the throne by trickery he explained it to Zuko. Basically Iroh was depressed at his sons death so Ozai suggested that he should be made king because he has heir. His father was pissed so told Ozai to kill Zuko so he would know the pain of losing a child.
Ozai was going to kill Zuko but his wife made a deal with Ozai, killing his father for Zuko’s safety. Ozai jacked the throne, Iroh was too depressed to claim it back. This explains three as well.
That being said, Ozai is friggin cruel you would think a 30 year old man would have issues litterally roasting a child but not him, though he did permanently scar his son.
Azula’s end was both saddening and pathetic. Paranoia hit her. Lol Zuko to me is the winner of that match.
Knew about that first part, but I didn’t know she planned to kill Azulon for Ozai.
I like how Azula changed, seemed very natural. I assume she’s locked away and what not.

Yeah her change was believable. In reality when you control people by fear you always wonder when they will step up to you, the fact that the two people she considered ‘‘friends’’ smacked her down broke her wall of confidence.
I thought Azula would die trying to redirect lightning in all honesty. How it ended and everything else was cool. I like at the end when Soka was saying ‘‘Aaang was like pow and Ozai was like choke’’. Basically mimicking how people will be when talking about the episode.
Well it couldn’t have ended it better and it sets up some movie episodes for the future.
This episode made me proud to be a fan and invest my time watching and enjoying it. And damn did we all as fans reap the investments.
Everybody walked off into the sunset all happy and shit, and that’s the way it should have gone down.
And now Aang and every Avatar for all time is completely broken because of the new move he gained. Lil ol Megaman with the Metal Blades type of nigga. Good shit.
The fights were some God Tier action. I gotta give my MVP to Sokka. He stepped up majorly and that I gotta applaud. That squad would be not as beastly without him. Making plans and the comedy, no one does it better. Bottom line everybody put in work. Katara with the Flash Stopper. Miss Toph with the ass beating with the metal armor. Zuko becoming a man and handling that home shit. Suki with the last second save. And Aang for doing what needed to be done and doing it his way!! Oh and the Captain Planet reference was some funny shit. I was dying when they did that.
2 hours damn well spent if I do say so myself.
Katara went Dio on Crazy ass bitch Azula. Aang is GOD TIER officially and gets the girl. Finally a great ending to a anime series…its been so long since we’ve seen that. 
Yea Sokka’s smart as hell. Dude can make great strategic moves at the last minute. And Iroh didn’t do shit basically, dude still depressed or something?
Anyways Great Series…I hope there will be a time skip or a official movie or something.
Wow, I just finished watching it. I’m sounding like a broken record, but the series was really good.

Aang just straight beasted on Ozai something terrible. I kinda wish it wasn’t such a lopsided fight though. A more even battle would have been even more epic. Bullet rocks ftw.
Azula’s slippage seemed a little rushed to me. She’s finaly about to before firelord and she has a meltdown? I guess you could say it was too much for her. Azula and Zuko had a pretty nice battle, but Katara with freeze stole the show.
Is it just me, or did it feel like Katara would’ve gone either way (Aang or Zuko), depending on who pursued more? Seemed like she was waiting to see who was actually interested. (granted, I missed a few minutes cuz I had to install a new latch on my fence while movie was on)
i like how they made the story end with unanswered questions. this means that they could make more later. hmmmmmmm probably will be answered in the 2010 movie… gayness
Does anybody buy this peace and equality with the Fire Nation thing? Think about it…you still will have
1: knuckleheads who won’t go along with that (fire nation military in general, probably, and definitely some generals)
2: people who were instilled with their parents’ values.
3: even the Fire Nation school curriculum paints the Fire Nation as being right in their aggression and subjugation of everyone else, and is full of propaganda.
4: other nations have people who are still pissed at the stuff the Fire Nation has done to them and their ancestors…
I think it will be a while before everybody in the Fire Nation will be cool with other benders without supervision, and vice versa.
Zuko said it was going to be hard. Of course there will be problems but we won’t see them unless they decide to continue the series.
If bending can be removed or restored by manipulating a person’s energy…can it also be type-shifted (earth bender reset to air bender), blended (multiple bending styles per person), or enhanced (bender now wields secondary power, eg: firebender now has access to lightning) as well?
