Avatar: The Legend of Korra - Book 4

i know and i hope youre right but look at aangs main teachers…katara and toph…zuko seems to fit that pattern…we’ll see maybe zuko will get him started and some1 else will come in and finish it or w/e

also id like to see a sparring session between zuko and sokka

Zuko isn’t nearly skilled enough to be that good of a teacher. Katara and Toph are supposed to be prodigies, but Zuko while a damn fine Fire-bender, isn’t on the same level of fire bending that Katara and Toph are in their respective elements.

It would make more sense if Iroh or the supremely unlikely but would be entertaining choice of Azula.

Actually, for a “finisher”, I would think that Jeong Jeong the Deserter would be the most likely since he told Aang to seek him out when he was ready or something to that effect.

I may be biased since I liked the character a lot, though.

It’s not like there only has to be one teacher, though, especially since Aang has to learn Fire Bender relatively quickly.

Soundly agree here, I’ve been thinking about that guy ever since Aang swore to “never use firebending again”, I think he’s probably the best person out of the people Aang actually KNOWS(Besides Iroh obviously) that could teach him a lot better than Zuko can. I mean sure, Zuko’s shown some stuff, but in matches against named Firebenders and not some random encounter scrubs, he’s usually struggled or outright gotten his ass kicked(First Match with Azula on that boat)

So I just finally caught this and it doesn’t seem bad.

Is there any torrents out there with all 3season and is current with up to date?
I tried few torrent site haven’t found anything wroth while yet =(

When Katara was teaching Aang the basics of water bending she still hadn’t become as good as she was when she reached the south pole. So it is possible that Zuko could still become Aang’s firebending teacher. Plus, let’s not forget that Aang already knows some firebending but just doesn’t use it.

If the avatar creators are true geeks, they should have Ozai use a lightsaber-blowtorch-type weapon to go along with his Force lightning.

Aang says its his duty to help the avatar or something, he said its the avatars duty to fight the fire lord, what i want to know, is how did zuko escape from his dad, i know he didny defeat him, but did his dad just not care anymore and let zuko leave or did zuko pull some top tier shit and escape.

iroh had to have known about the eclipse and maybe he was informed about the invasion, he probably escaped During the blackout when there was no firebending, remember he was doing mad push ups and chin ups and shit and was built. he probably using ligtning/fire bending to break out right before the eclipse happened so when he broke out of jail, he had the advantage, even then, if he broke out after or before the eclipse, he wouldn’t of ran into anyone who could match him in firebending.

the real question of this episode is, what do u think would have happened if iroh didn’t try and escape and zuko set iroh free, would they be working together?

edit- obviouyls if azula can electricity bend her father can too. and we know zuko can at least deflect someone else’s lightning.

I believe that Ozai (the Firelord) was stunned from being hit by his own redirected lightning (which made Azula’s lightning look like a cheap sparkler).

Western Air Temple is up.

Western Air Temple

[details=Spoiler] Zuko ends up joining the group to teach Aang firebending after helping them take Combustion Man down, but while he’s unpacking alone, Katara basically tells him that if he messes up at all, she’ll kill him.

He’s not at the level of Toph or Katara, but he was personally instructed by Iroh, and he got a lot better right before he betrayed his uncle. He was going blow for blow with Katara and he was using a lot of new techniques like those fire chains and that kamehameha thing.

The reason why Aang initially agrees though, is because Zuko shows an understanding of what Jeong Jeong told Aang about firebending.

Chapter 12 was pretty good. It seems that Zuko finally knows his role in life and I’ll hate to see him and Katara go at it (especially when there’s a full moon). I was a little scared after her comment to Zuko, but I’m sure that Zuko won’t give her a reason to try to kill him. Hopefully, chapter 13 will be next week.

Hurray, Jake Long is good again.

DRAGON UP.

I can’t wait for the Firebending training episode. I hope it’s half as good as the Earth Bending episode. I also hope the rest of the series is full of completely awkward moments featuring Jake Long learning to be good.

combustion man was just too beastly for the avatar universe…
so much so that the only person that could kill him was himself…

…it sucks that in the midst of all the drama no one will probly remember it was sokka that brought upon his downfall

BOOMERANG!!! :lovin:

combustion man gets back up

boomerang…

LOL, i feel bad for tophs feet, but from they were they were acting, it seems like it will heal and she will have her full bending potential. this whole time, i’ve always seen toph as the strongest fighter in their group

anybody know a site i can watch it? watch-avatar is down for me and i can’t find it on stage6 nor youtube. the latest episode is really starting to bug…

Avatarchapters.com works fine, so long as you have Firefox.

crazy episode. what the hell happened to zuko’s sword!?

thanks for the info, dragon.

Yo… I caught up on Book 3 chapters 1-12

OMFG

Too damn crazy. Im soo hyped for chapter 13 in January.

Also: Bloodbending!!?!?! HOW THE FUCK! My GOD Katara is GDLK!

zuko had a sword? i cant remember him ever using a sword except for when he wore that blue mask but those seemed like generic swords u could get at any sword shop. No need to carry that around when u can just pick it up anywhere
