[spoiler=]It was cool to randomly see Zhao again. He was my favorite villain of TLA first season. Giant Cosmic Korra > Avatar State. It really sucks that she lost her link to her past lives. It sets a giant reset button as far as being an avatar is concerned. I’m curious where Book 3 and 4 go from here[/spoiler]

Anyway good shit on the finale. So it seems that the connection to all the past avatars has been broken. Ravaa being reborn was like a rewrite of avatar history. If you noticed her color went from yellow when she was destroyed to blue when Jinora revived her.

The history of Wan was shown to be like a foreshadowing of things coming full circle back the way they used to be. Korra is essentially the “first avatar” all over again.

Now time to go into withdrawals for season 3.[/details]

I liked Book 1 WAY MORE even if that’s not saying much. Aman trying to eradicate an entire race of people was just more interesting than Vaatu destroying the world.
