Avatar: The Legend of Korra - Book 4

On scale of crazy from 0 to 10

If sokka is a 2, Bumi is a 4, and azula after her nervous breakdown is an 11, where does Eska rank?

I think eska would be a good gf she seems like she would be kinky as fuck.

I will say Nick is doing one thing right. Having the episodes up on their site after they air is a smart move.

Finally watched it. Good that it was already established Unalaq is the bad guy, couldn’t stand more of Korra believing in his feigned benevolence.

Eska

We need a gif of Devil-gene Eska stat!!

And I hope to God that the ratings are better this week. :frowning:

So there’s this big ass avatar thread on srk and i didn’t even know.
Sadly this season of korra is poo poo platter and I’m only watching for the action (spirits are cool) or for that one moment of worldbuilding where they make some awesome connection to the original series that blows my mind.

Its just hard to like any of these characters when the dialogue is so consistently terrible.

this episode was mehh

only enjoyed the bolin humor and the sideline story at the airbending temple

is this series still shit?

seriously though, the show just isn’t as well drawn as season 1. The art is just worse, you think it would be better because it’s season 2 but the drop in art is too significant to not notice.
In season 1, we had well-drawn art and cool looking CGI steam punk themed city.

This is just like season 1 where it kinda started slow, but the mystery of Amon kept the interest going. We don’t have that yet, hopefully something cool will pop up in the next few episodes.

In season 1, we had well-drawn art and cool looking CGI steam punk themed city. Since season 1 was such a big hit, and the producers didn’t anticipate a season 2, they had to come up with something new for season. Hopefully this doesn’t turn to a sophomore slump as most musicians tend to fall to.
They have all their life preparing for their first album, but only a year to make the second one.

I won’t nitpick at the art and animation as that’s not my issue. Now as far as this new episode is concerned…yeah a few things were predicted. Not a bad thing…and boy do I love Eska!

Moving along to things actually relating to what’s happening
Where is Katara in this Civil War business? She still in the Southern Tribe last I checked
Damn…I wish they would have made the debate about who was right last longer or maybe never resolved.

Instead of going the predicable route why not make the uncle right but just in a wrong way.

She died of grief, obviously.

They can save that for the end after Korra defeats him. Make it bittersweet as fuck and teach her how truly meaningless it is for her to be an agressive Avatar.

I guess I’m the only one who has no issue with this season and is loving it as much as season 1 when it was at this point.

You have a pretty bad habit of not taking things at face value, and giving them time to develop you crazy person you.

i see the srk hatocracy was formed in the off season.

Actually waited to watch the last two episodes on my DVR together once I saw it was a two parter. The second episode is better then the first mainly because it had less whining. Dear heaven EVERYONE was bitching about something, you know its bad when Mako showing off his hidden jerk side is one of the better moments not exclusive to Bolin (who I promise it seems like even the writers know he should be the star/co star giving all the love he is getting).

But as sad as it is that the show took the predictable route with Korra’s uncle aka poor man’s Scar (because real talk that is who he trying and failing to be at this stage), Korra’s daddy issues and such, Bolin is carrying the show on his back with a little help from Eska and rich guy who’s name I forgot. Here’s hoping Eska becomes the new Zuko or Azula and chases after them all season and rich guy stays around providing the veiled WTFs and sneaking potty humor past the radar.

Hearing how fucked up Aang’s kids are makes some sense but they fucked up on making old girl’s hair gray when all her brothers aren’t and she is supposed to be the middle kid. But whatever, they dropped the ball with the avoiding the more interesting story point with the eldest of Tenzin’s kids having spirit world related visions for two episodes. Still with the show but definite drop off in quality in terms of how the story is progressing and moving. Hopefully, they will get that groove back.

Don’t think anyone is stupid enough to bring a fight to that woman’s porch direct.
