This episode should be a reminder to all that an episode not need to have (huge) action scenes to be (very) entertaining, especially since dialouge can always make or break an episode or a show.

I just started watching Avatar Sunday and I’m up to date (Book Three: Fire). I like the show as my favorite characters so far are Zuko, Jet, Toph, Sokka and Iroh. It seems that Aang pretty much knows how to bend all of the key elements (once he masters the Avatar state, it’s a wrap for anyone who fights him). He look cooler with hair, too.
Hardcore Avatar shippers amuse me, because so far, Book Three has been pissing off the Zutara shippers to no end! The Zutara shippers are dying inside because of the relationship between Mai and Zuko, because it puts a damper on their hopes of seeing Zuko and Katara hook up!
It’s almost as if the Avatar creators KNOW about the massive shipping craze and they’re intentionally trying to piss off the collective Zutara shippers! It’d be REALLY funny if that were true.
Is the torrent up yet? The Nickelodeon site simply has a teaser two minute clip up right now. This season is excellent so far.

I’m glad they are taking a stance. It is rare that creators say ‘THIS IS NOT A DEMOCRACY’ when dealing with fictional relationships and not bow into outside pressure.
Good season so far, although that trailer has me itching for some major throw downs in the future.
