hahahahaha so bad.

I dont mind the idea of the hero not making his way past the goons and every opponent in the show for free, but at the same time the idea that powerful benders are getting trashed by foot soilders is sort of poorly written IMO. Like obviously balance is a issue so lets just nerf the benders so the humans can have a chance, and in this regard the first show was a lot more consistent in power. Like I said before, if bats was getting knocked around by every nameless thug he came across or superman was getting beaten by every goon he fought it would ruin their image which is what I feel this show has done with all the bender jobbing.

Dat Sexy Mako… wait what!!! Fuuuu…

I re-watched Out of the Past and the first time I watched it I thought cool Korra made progress spiritually. Now I noticed on top of that in the Yakone flashback it parallels how Aang energy bends compared to Amon. Of course it’s been mentioned before with Ozai but this series actually made a point of differentiating it between Amon’s forehead only chakra/chi attack.

Oh snap! I get it! So because he wears a mask, and his lips don’t move, he can be easily dubbed over! HAHAHAHA I get the joke!

BRILLIANT!

Sooooooo upset!

This fuckin episode!!!

So fukkin sic!!!

I got two out of three right at least!

New episode

Spoiler

Naotok/Tarlok will definitely be back. That explosion won’t do much to him. Lost in the ocean? Yea right, water benders can’t get lost in the ocean.

Heh, just as I was typing a reply about no avatar state, Aang’s ass shows up.

No clue what to expect for the second season.

Spoiler

[details=Spoiler]
Yakone is a piece of shit and the ending with Tarrlok and Amon was actually pretty sad. It makes sense but as it is ultimately a children’s show I am surprised that they went that route.

Also 2 thumbs up to Iroh Jr. [/details]

that was da shit.

i cannot wait for season 2.

Spoiler

So many plot twists in this episode. Excellent finale and leaves so much to interpretation for next season. I say Mr. Sato will be the villain next season.

All I can say is…

[spoiler=]To all those who bitched, whined and moaned that Korra wasn’t Top-Tier enough. Well, patience is a virtue as Tenzin would say. What can anyone say now!!! I’m happy to see everything going so well, and to see the past Avatars was absolutely amazing. Not to mention, to see that Korra is finally becoming a more mature person all together is the most humbling and greatest part about this last episode. Her attitude within the end of this episode went from a teenager to a stepping into becoming an adult woman. Absolutely breathtaking with that transformation for Korra’s character. Also, I’m vouching it now, Asami is going to end up with Bolin![/spoiler]

Every generation you’ll get a cartoon series that just simply breaks boundaries and blows your mind. Thank you to the creators of the Avatar Series, one of the few lights that shine within a heap of bad tasting cartoons, you make a diamond in the rough.

OHHH SHEEIT!!

If you haven’t watched this episode you better resist the urge to open this spoiler!!

[details=Spoiler] 1st up, OH MAH LAWD! AMON IS TUROK’S BROTHER!! AND HE’S NOT ONLY A BLOOD BENDER BUT BY FAR THE MOST POWERFUL WE’VE SEEN!! There’s no way we’ve seen the last of him, even though Turjok supposedly kills both himself and Noatak (AMON’S REAL NAME FOR YOU NUKA’S WHO FORGOT ALREADY)! And I have a feeling that Amon’s 2nd in command won’t give up, and might try to continue leading the equalist on his own, calling out Amon as a traitor.

  1. Lol @ when Iroh knocked the pilots out of their planes and the camera had to show them opening their parachutes so you know they survived. That’s some GI Joe stuff there.

  2. I’m happy Korra got her powers back at the end along with the Avatar State, but I gotta say, I was hoping for her to simply have her connection to the spirit world and would spend some time of the 2nd season getting her powers back.

  3. Lin’s back bitches!

  4. So exactly what in blood bending allows Amon to seal it?

  5. BUMI!

  6. I swear I was gonna shit my pants when Amon took off his mask.

  7. This is the best show currently airing on network television. The only way it could get better is if they had a toonami promo. SOMEONE MAKE THAT NOW!![/details]

Spoiler

Personally I don’t want Makorra because it just seems too obvious to me. That being said, I can see Asami ending up with Bolin since he actually expresses himself.

[details=Spoiler]well the ending to amon wasn’t something i expected

but finale was pretty much “yeah i figure they’d do that”

but it was a great season. can’t wait for season 2 now.[/details]

Aye bruh bruh. They was throwing twists everywhere. Wow.

Tarlok straight up denied the homie.

But Iroh lookin like Gohan vs Cell. Idk if they meant it as a reference

My mind can’t handle how awesome this episode was.

Everyone else is going to post spoilers so I won’t. All I can say is this episode was too good.

I will say this:

Spoiler

Who needs metalbending when you have mother-fucking Naga?

I can’t wait for season 2.

[details=Spoiler] i want to say amon and tarlokk died, considering that the avatar series has killled off characters before (katara’s mom, jet, admiral zhao ) but i wouldn’t be suprised they came back. i am however suprised they blantly show them getting blown up on nickelodeon of all places. i like how amon is just like everyone else. he’s only this way because of what yakonn did to him and his brother which is fucked up. im glad korra got her bending back too. i was worried that we was going into the route of getting back her powers and wasting next season.

although…it seems she only did it the avatar state. if she got em back then that great. i also like how the avatar state gives her the power to engery bend.

anyway this season was great, almost up there with season 2 of ATLA [/details]
