I doubt that Katara would want to be a prosecutor. She doesn’t strike me as someone who would into the field of law
While we’re talking about Yakone/Tarlock’s bloodbending, it was mentioned in the flashback that Yakone would bloodbend all day, everyday except during the full moon. Was it self-imposed, or a trade-off for bloodbending whenever you wanted? Not too much of a downside, I know, but interesting nontheless. I’m with The Damned on this one, we needed a better explanation on why their bloodbending works the way it does or more balance(like only being able to bloodbend during one period of time a day, like during the daytime OR the nighttime, instead of just whenever.). Aside from wanting more Amon news, I’d actually like to know a bit more about his 2nd in command. I can’t help but feel he’s more important to the plot than he appears(probably wrong, but whatevs). Maybe he’s the one who started up the mass chi-blocking teachings when he came across Amon who learned energybending?
I was about to come and post this. The only explanation why he wasn’t affected by the bloodbending as much, and why he can take off people’s bending so easily.
When the Lion Turtle taught aang to take away bending, the lion mentioned energy bending as the precedent for all the elemental bending.
Now how in the hell Amon came across the lion turtle is beyond me, but Amon is most definitely an energy bender. (damn that’s some broken top-tier cheap shit)

Anybody ever have the theory that Amon is Tarlock’s father? We have no idea how old Amon is. Bumi and Iroh showed old people can still kick ass. I wouldn’t be surprised. Before, he wanted to rule through bending. He got his bending taken away, so now he still wants to rule but as a non-bender.

That scene made me laugh, don’t know if the line itself was funny or if it was funny because it was delivered by Sokka.
The guy nailed Sokka’s speech manurisms perfectly which really helps.
Eh … Amon resisted bloodbending … Which seems to imply he’s a very powerful bender or not human. I guess he could be a spirit but that would be weird. I always wondered if the lion turtle was a spirit. Would explain knowledge of energy bending.
If Amon is blood bending then that means he’s some guy who is becoming super powerful by stealing everyone’s bending : (
I doubt Korra’s bending can be stolen being the avatar and everything. Even if she loses it she’ll get it back. Being bending incarnate and whatnot. He’d have to kill her in avatar state which she can’t even do. Who knows we might see avatar state korra next week.
My impression on that scene talking about Yakone’s bloodbending is that there are eyewitness testimonies of him bloodbending on days OTHER than a day with a full moon, therefore Yakone didn’t do any crimes because it was impossible to do so.

Man, I loved how Sokka and Toph still retain a part of their personalities when they were a part of Team Avatar long ago, however Aang looks like he’s matured fully. 
Not even remotely possible what with the whole reincarnation thing, korra wouldn’t exist if aang was still alive. Plus c’mon, what kinda shitty plot twist would that be? Hey you know that really cool and kind hearted kid you guys feel in love with over the course of 3 years? Yea well now he is a psychopathic fanatiq running around taking away benders powers.
With that said I really am curious of to who, or what, amon really is. Hommie gets more and more intersting each time he appears on screen. I hope they give a proper explanation for how he is capable of doing what he does, but after their so and so explanation of the blood bending Im not holding my breath.

Amon is either a cyborg or zombie.
I first noticed something was up when during Pro bending final, as Korra was falling from her attempt to get on the zepplin, she threw a fireblast that once it hit the roof, knocked every other equalist in the room but Amon on their backs. This refusal to be blood bent is not possible unless motherfucka ain’t human. Unless you are Dr. Manhattan there should be effect, Aang had to go into Avatar state just to get his body back under control from being blood bent.
Not to mention, if they can have mecha and electrified stun batons, they can have steam punk cyborg ninjas or terrorist zombie ninjas.
the bloodbending was definitely affecting Amon, but he was just so top-tier that it didn’t affect him as everyone else so far. This dude is definitely stronger than Aang or any avatar that existed before, at this point only the Avatar state can possibly beat him
