Waterbenders can bend salt water and those guys from the swamp could use swampbending and plantbending, so bending any aqueous solution should be able to work as well.
See now why canāt they just water bend someoneās urine into kidney stones?..On Second thought, thank God they donāt do that.
Something with a lot of viscosity like crude oil I think would be impossible to water bend? Or hell Sodium-Bending would be interesting to fight against a water bender⦠Stay salty my friend! /saltblast beam blast. But I guess Salt bending would derive from Earth-bending?
You can stream em on nickelodeans site, thats where I watched 4-8.
lol I know right, sheās definitely a better firebender than waterbender(least she appears to be, but maybe thats cause she just learnt it and sheās feeling it out or some shit). But I guess it fits her personality perfectly and further sets her up as a literal opposite to aang. He rarely ever bent fire, and only learnt it because he had to, whereas she seems to absolutely love firebending.
Yeah but the reason why I asked was because they removed the first two episodes and if theyāre going to be removing episodes, I might as well nab them in my laptop.
Anyway I already found a place where I can download the episodes.
Tarlock>>>>>>>>>>>Korra.
I donāt know about this. Korra has shown some top tier water bending already. In episode 1 where she instantly created an ice wall on a bridge to escape a metal bender, and the pro-bending final episode where she used a water whirlwind to carry her up to the ceiling of the arena. She hasnāt quite shown any top-level firebending yet.
Good point, I guess she just prefers firebending.
I think its because she always has the ability to firebend no matter the situation. Sheās not like kitara and tarrlok who carries some water on themselves, so we donāt get to see her do it as much because there hasnāt been that much water around in most of her fights.
Yakone and Tarlock are fucking bending mutants!!!
Bloodbending entire groups of people and high level bending without the moon!!!
I like how Tarrlok ran away like a bitch instead of explaining his plot like a comic book villain.
Edit: No glow when Aang stole Yakoneās bending, it mustāve just been a finale thing.
Also, Gooooo Amon. Resisting bloodbending like a boss. Is he a cyborg? It seems a bit too soon for the finale to be coming up. Weāve hardly seen Korra train.
[details=Spoiler] damn amon just solidified his boss status.
tarlok: HEY I CAN BLOOD BEND!
amon: lol nope
also one hour season finaleā¦canāt wait [/spoiler
Whoa! This story is getting so hype! It was so nice to see Aang kick ass one more time. But what Iām wondering is where was Katara in all of these flashbacks?
Spoiler
Amon once again proves that he is the HNIC!!
Dude was no-selling bloodbending like the early 90ās prime Undertaker was no-selling steel chair shots!!!
Also loved we got a full flashback scene and older Toph still punks out Aang.
I got this off of Deviantart a loooong time ago. Itās Sokka & Azula.
Yes the boyās pimpinā is that strong!!
And yesā¦Amon runs things!!! Tarlock is/was just the #2 nig@#!!
We should change the thread name to āThe Amon respect thread!!ā
(Haha at Lin slapping Tenzin awake.)
Not having wanted to get into the silly discussions from the last week, because while I can understand being critical, people seriously arenāt pleased with anything, I just wanted to confirm before I forgot that, yeah, Yakoneās name wasnāt mentioned at all until this episode IIRC.
Broken Genetics
[details=Spoiler]Good eye on whoever caught the kid who is likely young Tarrlok in the courtroom flashback.
He and his father are/were seriously busted, though. Kind of a shame that they got taken out so quickly, but I guess it makes sense given how busted they seem. Still, it would have been nice to have more explanation and have a bad guy that wasnāt a Fire-bender or, in Amonās case, supposedly not a bender at all. Oh well. Perhaps weāll get more later.[/details]
Nice to hear some of the old Gaangās older voices.
I think part of her firebender so much is because itās always available. Meanwhile, Earth and Water arenāt always available, at least in bendable form.
However, yeah, Iām sure she probably prefers firebending due to her impulsive personality, especially since sheās been using it since she was about 5. Iām sure that was intentional on the creatorsā part given how little Aang used it between the Jeong Jeong incident where he burnt Katara accidentally and how late he properly learned; also probably because Aang associated it with the war or, at least, the Fire Lord.
Heh. All this what-if speculation is amusing.
This one in particular, however, has me again wondering how much actual āproperā anatomy the world of Avatar actually knows, especially since theyāre 1920s-esque and when Tahno, that douchebag pro-Waterbender, talked about āhealersā, it seemed to be in the sense of acupuncturists rather than a hospital.
Then again, Tenzin did mention that Lin should be a hospital this episode. Stillā¦
Well, everyone was kinda unconscious. Then again, that hasnāt exactly stopped villains before.
āGlowingā thing was probably both a finale thing and also because it was the first time that Aang did it, so he had a very real possibility of fucking up, especially with Sozinās Comet boosting Ozaiās strength.
Yeah. Amon seriously needs his own (boss) music entitled āResisting the Resistance is Futileā.
Just walking straight through focused blood-bending? The fuck?
Another great episode. Love the flashbacks. It was great to see an older Gaang and still behaving like themselves. Itās refreshing to see a monster who isnāt a firebender for once.
Spoiler
Amon no selling bloodbending like a boss. Amon too top tier for one trick ponies.
Where did you guys find the episode? Iāve looked around, but havenāt seen it.
(Ha. āNo-sellingā.)
Yeah, itās a bit disappointing to becoming up on the season finale already, but at least itās not the series finale and at least itās an hour long.
Even more disappointing that itās two weeks awayā¦
Missed this in my above reply.
Sheās probably not around because she had young kids to take care of still, depending on how long ago this happened and how late she and Aang had (all) their kids.
