(Yeah, I also think “Soundbending” is Air’s secondary. Gasbending, as silly as it sounds name-wise, would be rather awesome too.)
I noticed this yesterday after watching the end of the episode again, but given what a lazy bastard I am, I didn’t want to post on SRK since I went for a walk and working on something else. Anyway, in the most recent flashback, the guy who is probably Tarrlok’s father appears to be bloodbending the entire courtroom. While in handcuffs.
Unless it’s night court and it’s like a full moon outside, then…he seems absurdly powerful/dangerous.
Are you talking about Electric Baton Guy? (He really needs a [nick]name.)
Because he showed up fine in the very next episode.
Not that I haven’t wondered about her ruthlessness–since I’ve wondered about Lin’s, especially since she launched two people off the roof even harder–or that think it’s wrong to try to kill someone who is trying to kill you, which Tarrlok clearly tried to do. It’s just kinda…jarring on someone who was supposedly defenseless/already defeated, especially given Aang’s technical pacifism being such an important part of the first show.
It wouldn’t exactly surprise me. Bloodbending looks painful and “at best” looks unpleasant/uncomfortable, especially if you try to fight it. (And why wouldn’t you?)
She’s had visions in the presence of both because both have knocked her unconscious. I’m pretty sure that’s all there is to it.
Him hitting on Asami was hilarious, especially since it’s the first time we’ve seen him act coherent.
Watch him turn out to be gay.
Get man moist anyway. He can already use your blood against you, which certainly explains the awesome, not-painful priapism; a little more wetness shouldn’t hurt.
(Whoa, this manages to sound even creepier typed out.)
