So I finally caught the latest episode and a few things popped into my head. I’ll add spoiler tags just in case

Wouldnt those big ass mechs be super vulnerable to earth bending? I mean unless they have a way to get up and keep going, any decent earth bender should be able to topple those mechs. And it feels like Tenzin is going to put everyone into training now knowing how serious its gotten. Tenzin/Korra and Beifong/Bolin. Only Mako is the one without a mentor and it would be a perfect time for Tenzin to bring someone in.

I wish they had explained how Toph metal bends in the first season better, it would have cleared up a lot of confusion that people are having now.

Oh yea I forgot to mention that Tenzin was a fuckin boss this episode. That Air Riding Air Wheel was dope as hell. He was assisting and attacking. Dude knows how to be a team player. Most everyone else was goin agro.

I told yall the suspicion over a certain character was unwarranted. Really interesting episode subverted a few expectations.

Also platinum being a metal would be a great heat conductor right? sooo why aren’t they free to fire benders?

Not trying to shortchange azula, but its a simple fact that in all her fights it was written in a way that she always had a edge(either a small army behind her or some other thing in her favor). In her only direct h2h scenes without a plot device helping her, she got worked by zuko and katara.

The series has done pretty good with normal logic and physics so its a odd error that stands out. Another thing I wonder is why dont the earth benders attach some earth to the mechs to bend it. Like why not bend some pavement or dirt to the mech’s legs and bend it so that it crushes their legs or something.

At this point I don’t think Tarlock has nothing to do with Amon. They are sitting him up to be the next villain once the Amon business is over

Only because benders were the ones to take his wife away. Though I was shock to see that he was in cahoots with Amon, rather than using him as a means to expand his business.

If Amon doesn’t turn out to been a firebender then my bet is that the man who killed his parents is teamed up with Tarlock.

I think Amon is going to become a bender. So far it’s just been said that he’s “taking people’s bending away”.
Wat if he’s doing more? What if he’s going to be a stronger Korra, since he can only take Earth Fire and Water.

What if Korra vs Amon last fight is really a bending fight and Korra breaks out the trump card that would be her air bending?

tl;dr What if Amon is actually stealing bending (earth fire and water) away for himself and plans on beating Korra at her own game?

:coffee: mechs seem free against benders with prep…

  1. earth benders could bury the mechs shoulder deep. quicksand bending at it’s finest.
  2. water benders could fill it up with water and freeze. any sealed joints really.
  3. fire benders should melt pure silver gold or platinum with moderate effort. and fire does consume oxygen.
  4. air benders could twister them at will or change the pressure in the mech once a seal is cracked.

can’t wait for evidence 5-7 episodes later :bluu: can’t wait for next week’s really :sad: .

I would lol if that were actually the case with Amon. Ol’ wannabe Blackbeard ass nigga stealing everyone’s bending Mega Man-style so he can be the only one with bending.

I like the concept of the mechs, but I can see the benders coming up with some environmental strategies for taking them down. Korra needs to get on that mastering all of the elements tip if she’s going to go toe-to-toe with Amon. Can’t wait for her inevitable spirit convo with Aang.
