Thatās not HDā¦
I thought of this concept during the last season of TLA.
evil avatar
[details=Spoiler]First, think of the effect an early childhood injury had DBZās Goku⦠or the senseless loss of a parent for DCās Batman⦠but reversed!
What if a (much?) later avatar enters the avatar state at an (impressionable) early age, gaining (and reliving several) negative memories from previous avatars and begins learning the more exotic bending arts (blood, iron, lightning⦠chi) before even using the traditional water, earth, fire, air. Rather than being discovered by the white lotus (or the order that looks for them) this avatar is raised by devious individuals (a counter cult order?) after a tragic (possibly avatar state) accident leaves this avatar an orphan. Eventually this avatar turns on its benefactors only to take a twisted version of their ideals⦠who could possibly stop this rogue avatar?[/details]
Not the best of ideas but a start no?
If youāre looking for a legal way to watch these episodes in hd as soon as possible your best bet is to buy the season pass on itunes.
See ya around⦠Avatar. :\
Now I feel bad for wanting his bending stolen.
He became a bum in record time.
Fixed for accuracy and hilarity
Dem movie jokes
Bending is his career and takes up your entire life in order to master. Finding a good job as a non-bender is pretty difficult to begin with (most of the jobs that we would consider blue collar are bender exclusive in Republic City) and Tahno has had zero time to train himself in relevant skills.
So yeah, no wonder he became a bum.
Non benders were the best in TLA I donāt understand
I really hope Korra shows more to the martial art side of fighting.
Watching over Book 1 of TLA again showed waaaaay more use of weapons than book 2 and 3 combined.
Archery, Hammers, most firebender guards used spears for some reason, not sure why they completely stopped using weapons up until Sokkaās Master
If the flashback of lilāKorra is any indicator, she didnāt learn much h2h becauseā¦
Also⦠since when was being the avatar reduced to a childās play thing?
I loved the last series and to avoid being bias against this new series Iāll try to stay as objective as I can without making to many comparisons.
LOK seems more like a miniseries then it does a actual series, and given that it took 6 episodes to get interesting Iām inclined to think the substance and depth of the material is very paper thin. I could even go as far as saying that 80% of this series could easily be considered filler with only 20% being crucial to the point of the narrative. It just seems lackluster in terms of character development(interesting character development) and compared to the old cast no one here stands out. I think as a anime movie or maybe even a comic it might have a better shot, but to follow up on 1 of the best western made cartoons Iāve ever seen it feels like major waste IMO.
Every time I hear āwesternā I want to rage against anime.
No, Specs. Calm yourself. Think of Dr. B OH GOD JIZZ
It is a mini-series. That was the intention of this show.
Oh I forgot that detailā¦well I still think it isnāt the series I wanted to see for the franchise.
Edit: I just think the old cast and story would have been better served had it been the story of their kids dealing with another world wide threat.
How is he doing these days?
How can it be a mini series when itās going to have 2 seasons?
Isnāt it going to be 12 episodes a season
12 in one 14 the second. A miniseries is usually shorter than one season of episodes, though. 2 seasons is all thatās guaranteed: there might be more.
a miniseries :wonder: can be 26 episodes right?
Another GDLKE ep, although I didnāt like when Tarlock shifted his eyes suspiciously at Tenzinās mention of ānot escalating the conflict between benders and non benders furtherā. If theyāre setting up Tarlock and Amonās partnership as a huge plot twist I will be very disappointed.
I might be grasping at straws here but bear with me. You ever think Amon has some sort of connection to Zukoās Dad, Ozai? I mean the Avatar stripped away his powers, you think MAYBE Ozai had some sort of awakening where he understood how his powers were takin and passed the theory on to someone else?
