Iām not really feeling this season so far. The non bender vs bender teen drama stuff is kind of lame. Why canāt a bender learn to block chi? Couldnāt they just unblock their own chi?
What the hell has Amon even done to be the villian? He took the bending away from some shitty criminals?
What Iāve learned from season 4 so far is that a bunch of people who have magic powers based on martial arts are really good at completely forgetting all those martial arts once they canāt shoot magic anymore.
Also funny is how the creators have managed to make their foot clan the anti ninjas which in turn has made the entire appeal of the series fucking boring. Having one Ty Lee was great, having 600 Ty Lees running around stopping everyone from having cool ass bending fights is lame ass.

Amon knows his shit and is not going to do anything that would make Korra the poster child for a counterrevolution. When he takes away her bending it has to be a punishment for a deserving traitor, not a cruelty for an innocent martyr.

They are trying to be deep with their little themes and real life allegories but are rushing it in 4 episodes while having a dumbass love drama and lame pro bending thrown in too. Creator dudes need to realize that old avatar was good because it was so well done. It wasnāt exactly pushing the envelope of fictional plotline development.

Korra hasnāt bent air because she hasnāt learned yet. Itās been established from episode one that Korra ignores the spiritual side of bending and Air is the most spiritual out of four elements. Sheās having a difficult time learning it for that reason.
Youāre a dumbass if you think thatās how chi-blocking works. They donāt forgot their martial arts. The part of the body that gets chi-blocked also gets paralyzed. Itās been this way since the first series. Chi-block an arm or leg and it goes limp, chi-block a dudeās back they collapse and unable to move at all.
For further clarification this was shown when Ty Lee chi blocked Sokka.
The villain makes perfect sense. Amon is still gaining supporters, why would he attack the avatar now and risk being attacked by all the nations as a retaliation. He would lose potential supporters and get completely destroyed. As awesome as chi blocking might seem it has its risk. The user has to be up close to use it which puts them at a huge disadvantage compared to all the ranged uses bending has. And there numbers are very small compared to all the benders. They can easily be overwhelmed as they are right now.
This series is great so far. Going into this season i didnāt see chi bending as much of a threat, but so far I can see the hints at bigger plans and plot twist and Amon is awesome villain.

Itās too early to claim that Korra is actually a lesbian and sheās had her eyes on Asami the whole time but that doesnāt mean we canāt make a good guess that she isnāt. Amonās made all the right moves so far, heās looking much more like an Azula than an Ozai.
I hope we have a flashback of Aangās adult life in a similar vein to avatar Roku and see how his life turned out.
Yea itās too early to make both of those claims but one of them is ridiculous while the other is incredibly pre-emptive. You donāt get to do one bad ass thing and be considered awesome. If Amon is consistent through the run of the show, then yea heās awesome. As of now he has potential.

No, Iāve seen four episodes and they were all the worst episodes Iāve ever seen and I hate avatar and I hate Korra and I hate bending.
Forreals though, I want to see some damn Air bending and some cool bending fighting. Ty Lee Clan running around and sealing up everyoneās chi hyuga style is killing the fun.

I think that Amon is Ozai. Heās had his bending taken, so he could have learned to do it from that experience. Bumi was 112 and still physically strong, so maybe Ozai couldāve survived after such a long time.

Sozin killed an entire nation to get rid of the Avatar and what was the result? An 100 year war where the remaining nations despised the Fire Nation. You ask who would get mad but he actually answered that question when speaking to Korra, āthe other nationsā would get pissed off. You act as though republic city represents the entire world when the 3 Nations still exist where bending would be a significant part of their culture.
Rallying up 10,000 people does not mean that he has established that the world would be a better place without bending, what youāre suggesting makes about as much sense as claiming that Osama Bin Laden established that America should be brought down to the ground because he was supported by thousands of terrorists, it is asinine.
