That’s not entirely true. When I hosted the Official Wallpaper for SRK.com contest, Wiz gave the memberships for free. However that was something a bit different since it was something for the site and just 1 time only kinda deal (not like I made the contests every month). But it really didn’t matter at the time, I’d bankroll the contest regardles of Wiz supplying the rewarding memberships or not.
But who knows? Perhaps after av battle #3 or 5, Wiz could sponser one or two contests. Come to think about it, perhaps it is probably about time for another wallpaper contest.

(anyone else can do that as well…but don’t expect something on the level of my entry here…I wouldn’t do that again for only $2.)
I forgot who it was, but the wallpaper was a complete eyesore, and the fact that he won absolutely pissed me off because there were so many more deserving wallpapers.
tetsukas was the best for me. and chibi you were out of line to be so harsh about some kids work. jesus, it was just a silly comp and for what? a bigger avatar basically.
Oh please, it was clear as day that there were better wallpapers that deserved it, and anyone with even a smidgen of artistic touch / taste knew this. It’s not my vandetta, it was actually fact that that wallpaper had problems, I mean come on, a blurred zoom layer and black tentacles?
But whatever, let’s drop it already and leave it in the past ;p.
