Wow, this sounds like a lot of bullshit from a guy who wasn’t even there. Granted I’ve known Larry and Daniel for a long time now, ya’ll seem to take EVERY situation, big or small, and turn it into the next Civil War. But lets go ahead and get the facts straight:

Larry got 9th, being tied for the highest non-Houston player, top 8 belonged to Houston which pretty much said Austin got owned. It wasn’t really an insult as much as it was something that just happened.

Daniel loves to talk, he always has. I’ve had problems with it in the past and we’ve been tempted to taping his mouth shut during tournaments.

You and your friends have been down here what, once? I heard ya’ll decided to stay in Austin for a weekly instead of coming down. Sounds a little like fear to me. I’ve heard the excuses of not wanting to drive, not that serious about the game, etc. That’s all bullshit, if you didn’t care, ya’ll wouldn’t be playing weekly tournaments.
Daniel apologized to Larry face to face after the match, right after the match. From what I saw they patched things up. That should have be the end of it, since they were the two involved. But since you wanna drag personal insults and issues into this, I ain’t gonna stand by and watch that shit. You feel insulted? Then do something about it. Austin got owned this time around, last regional Larry owned most of Houston, this time it didn’t happen. But strange how the whole hope of Austin lies on Larry’s shoulders.
Brad, Sungjin, David, and Steve are probably the only other Austin players I can recall making it to more than one tournament. Yet, for every weekly there seems to be an average of 10-12 players per tournament. Tournaments that helped produce a certain #3 and #9 on the SW MvC2 apex rankings. A #3 and #9 from Austin that ducked out of the regional to stay at home for a little weekly while Larry was out of town.
So if you wanna talk shit we’ll talk shit. You wanna settle it, we can settle it. I don’t care either way, I’m leaving it up to you, cause I ain’t lettin this situation continue on this way. You wanna settle it on the machine and “save Austin’s pride”, the next regional tournament is in March. This is just to let you know, if you try anything, I got Daniel’s back.

Why are talking on everyones behalf Eric? I’ve met Daniel and he seems like a cool guy. I’m sure they were just messing with Larry like we always do here. I think we should squash this. Hopefully next time I’ll make to SG. Pretty sad that I’ve never been there but I’ve only heard good things about.

I don’t seem to see what all the fuss is about, I’ve yet to have a complaint abount anyone I’ve met at SG. I’m not sure who all is from Austin, but the ones the TOOK THE TIME TI INTRODUCE THEMSELVES were cool IMO.
Why does it have to be “Austin is this” or “Houston is that” I thought we all were from Texas! Lets just represent Texas!
