You knew about escaping mid HSF? Or are you tryin to be funny? I have gotten lucky with my push blocks before and was able to air hyper every once in awhile but I wouldn’t say I knew about it before. To say ya’ll already knew seems a bit far fetched. The push blocking is common sense but the other is new to me.

Just to make sure, the tournament is this Saturday 2pm at LL. Please try to be there on time so we can get started, it would be really helpful to know how many hours we need to pull a regular tournament with about 16 people.
Brad: Yeah I knew about it but I didn’t think it was something I should even bother to learn because I tried to do it and the timing is insane. If you messed it up, you eat HSF plus rocket punch, if you don’t try it, you eat 10 points of block damage. The risk is too big, I would only try it if the guy is packing Spiral or something that actually chips. David Hem said he saw it in Evolution and he is determined to learn it so don’t try it on him but I don’t think anybody in Houston is going to use this trick.
Steve: I’m not a cheater, Brad is, he won the freaking tournament. I’m glad we don’t have entry fees btw 
Joaquin: Le Fun might be closing down but remember they do have another store up north so unless Einstein’s make them an offer than can’t refuse (which I highly doubt E’s will since their head guy is very stubborn) you’ll probably see 4 machines in the Le Fun North.
Eric: You should show up along with Minh and Wei.
Let’s see, 3 guys from Baylor, Eric, Minh, Wei, Joaquin, Me, Sungjin, Brad, Steve, we only need 5 more people to have a complete 16 man tournament, yay!!!

Power-Dn i dont think I’ve ever met you before but anyway from Riverside I would just take I-35 N and then get off onto 183 North and just keep going all the way down it till it ends. Then go down maybe a couple of miles till you come to Lakeline Blvd or something and take a left. Then just go straight through a couple of stopsigns and you should see the mall. The arcade is located near the theater so I would park there so you dont have to walk very far. Hope to see everyone there

Well from Riverside depending on traffic I’d say about 20-25 minutes depending on fast you drive. See everyone at 2:00 or earlier, need to warm up first

Daniel did, end results were something like this.
1st Daniel, 2nd was Brad, 3rd was Justin, 4th was Minh, tied for 5th was me and Steven, I think Steve and Sungjin tied for 7th. I played like crap today, but I think everyone has one of those days where they just felt like they couldn’t do anything right, so today was a bad day. Minh has knocked me out twice now in tournaments, he’s not invited to the next one which is next Saturday.
So what do you guys think about 2 out of 3, double elimination? I thought it was a bit long since we had a total of 17 people and only 1 machine. I was thinking next week, we’ll have everything in the winners bracket is 2 out of 3 matches while in the losers it goes to 1 out of 2.
Good games everyone…it would have been a lot more fun if the controllers actually worked :bluu: …it was good seeing everyone…hope to see ya’ll for the big tourney next month!
