Everyone should come, I might hold a tournament there if we have enough people, time to get some apex points for the regionals coming up, free entry so the people working there shouldn’t have any problems to complain about. Not that we care anyway.

Great tournament y’all, sorry I had to leave early like that - it sucks ass not to have a car. It was cool to finally meet the other players in Austin – wreckincrew and some of the LL playas.
The Baylor players were really good (Kevin and Jason) and I had a helluva tough matchup against Jason.

Larry: Gave ya quite a scare didn’t I hehehehehe…but in the end I just couldn’t overcome your cheating ways. 
I have the results ready to be posted but my apex account had an error and I will post them up as soon as they’re fixed, I’ve already e-mailed ponder so it should be fixed soon. I have a feeling this has something to do with me not running one single tournament ever since I had this account, maybe they thought I was joking or something.
Anyways, congrats to Brad and Cable and his big gun, today was a sad day for Sentinel users, just sad. I asked the technician to check the joystick on the first player’s side and it turned out everything was working fine, but when I try to a half circle motions, I noticed the diagonal down wasn’t responding and it was because I didn’t do it with enough force for the diagonal down to register. Next tourney should be next Saturday at 2pm and this time I am going to try to do 2 out of 3 matches, double elimination, does anybody have any objections to this? Let me know what you guys think.

Yes. Larry has taken the initiative to start having a little tourney every week. Pay to play no entry fee. It is just for fun and apex points. The sticks kind of ruin things if you take it too seriously. Larrys Sentinel sux ass (at LL anyway)

LL first player side has trouble with forward to back half circle motions. I realize this everytime I watch Brad try to play Doom, then I laugh at the subsequent cursing.
Sent is crying right now because his engine is in the shop, I hope it gets fixed on Saturday and he can happily fly again.
Darth: Yeah basically the tournament is like the SA ones but we’re cheaper because we have no entry fees, you pay for your own games and you get apex points. Care to come down with JW sometimes and play?
I still haven’t posted the results because I can’t, not because I don’t want to alright. I e-mailed ponder Sunday night and I am hoping to get a response tomorrow, if not I will try again.
Dan: the format is double elimination, 2 out of 3 matches this weekend, if it ends up being too long and no one wants it this way then we’ll go back to either single elimination, 2 out of 3 matches or like last week, double elimination but single match.

Hey everyone I was at Le Fun earlier this week and I was trying to get some practice in and the sticks were not that bad, but thats beside the point. I heard that they are closing Le Fun at the end of this month I think. I know that the cabinets are usually not friendly but that just cause the dont maintain them. But I was talking to one of the guys that works there and he mentioned that Einsteins was thinking about purchasing one and I think that Einsteins seems to take better care of their machines. So if anyone knows the owner or someone that works there we should try to get a MvC2 cabinet at Einsteins. Just a thought, since the sticks aren’t slanted like LL and it would be closer for me to go to Einsteins. Well tell me what you guys think about this. Later
We have been pestering the owner of E’s to get a cabinet for awhile. There was even a thread deticated to it. The latest was there was no way it will ever happen.
Which Lefun is closing? I would be suprized if it was the one on the drag. They will never get the smell out of place. If you are speaking of the sticks downtown being as good as LL then they must have replaced them since the last time I was there. Both machines were screwed. One of the controllers only went up and right. That place sux and it smells. Maybe if it closes E’s will get a marvel cab but I doubt it.
On another note, has anyone seen the new vid? Larry will no longer be able to trap my cable with HSF with no fear of being punished. I have been tryin to get that timing down and man it is a very small window to push block and jump. But at least there is a window. I will learn and sentinel will die :evil:
I can attend the tourney this weekend. Hopefully the crowd will be bigger, I need the APEX points ( if they ever get entered:p).
larry and i already knew about it… but no one really practices the game so havent really gotten around to perfect it… the timing is pretty tight but its all possible…
