Hey I’m selling an xbox mad catz TE stick, the first edition, for 80 bucks. Comes with original box, used only about 5 times.
I bought it from a friend when I thought I was going to get a 360… but I’m not so it’s just sitting here.

yeah…so I still suck. Vacation next week = nothing but SSF4 so everyone best be ready to get beaten to half their life bar (maybe even a third if I play enough) when I get back! No more losing on round 3 of arcade either.

I finally went back to the arcade after awhile tonight (giant fat white guy lol) and the game felt a little odd to me at first. I use a pretty low lag TV but I think these are like 0 lag because they feel really smooth. I’m not even sure how to pinpoint it, but my question is what type and size monitors do you guys use at UFO? I want the game to feel like that at home.
Also what HUD settings do you guys have the game at? There’s 2 options in SF4, default and arcade. It felt like the life bars and super meters were closer together.
For some reason it just feels super smooth and I think it has to do with the monitor because the arcade hardware (vanilla) felt the same way as super did.
Nice playing with you guys, I’ll be back a lot more for sure. I wanna get good dammit 
I think it could also just be that I’m not used to sitting 1 foot away from the monitor while playing

Good games last night! I was the tall guy with the tan shirt and hat. Always playing Abel.
Like we were talking about, this was messing with me too. I couldn’t believe how much trouble I was having doing basic block strings. It felt like everything was off by just a slight beat. I think it comes down to a mix of different controller, sitting close to the monitor, different monitor, etc…
I think this “oddness” will start to disappear with more and more matches.
Speaking of the matches, good stuff people! I mostly got my ass kicked which is a good thing, means that every $.50 is worth it’s weight in SF experience.
Who was the guy in the white shirt with the brown hair who was playing Bison vs Viet’s Ryu/Akuma? Nice playing man! I’m pretty sure you beasted me in a few Abel vs Abel matches too.
I’ll probably be there this weekend too, hopefully get some matches in.

HUD settings: We use “Arcade” but sometime people load the wrong settings. It is definitely supposed to be on the “Arcade” setting.
I don’t know exactly which monitor is used on the Delta cabinets, but it is a Japanese brand and designed specifically for arcade cabinets (the monitor doesn’t have a housing). If you want a true lag-free monitor like the ones in Delta / Taito arcade cabs, the Alienware monitor that was used at Evo was definitely lag free (Dell AlienWare OptX AW2210 21.5") and if you want something bigger I would recommend a commercial display, Google “digital signage”.

haha, naruto days, good times, yeah that scene died quickly, then i focused on smash, and when sf4 came out, i played it and got hooked.
