It’s true that many pros abandoned sagat but he’s still good just not S tier anymore.I’m with Mosh on this one,it’s a good option to have and not that difficult to stock 2 EX-bars with angry scar.Anyone who likes the character will stick with him and it’s not the end of the world that sagat is a legit mid-tier

dude things in turbo 2 were broken so that’s beside the point… hell other characters could do the same thing as well like balrog and of course bison with his TOD combos…what i meant was on the lines of basic his style of play and not his FULL overall frame data statistics…also “they” probably also said that gen has gotten worse and i disagree, it just means that u have to work for the win, which oddly enough after messing with both of these characters, i had more fun with them in super than in vanilla…maybe i’m wrong and i won’t deny that’s he gotten a little weaker…
Gen ALWAYS had to work. He was NEVER top tier or even high tier. He got worse too and his nerfs were BEYOND unnecessary. I can’t talk to you. You don’t have a clue as to wtf you are talking about. Nerfs = character got worse. Gen and Sagat got worse. End of discussion.

gen was nearly built from the ground up from how his normals work…not to mention the faster travel speed of his wall kicks, lack of invul for ex version, lower meter build, and of course lose of his mk hands loop combo…he’s still gotten better b/c of other things like extended range on his crane super, better hitbox on his light and ex gekiro for links in combos and cr fierce punch for both styles…what’s up with the animosity anyway? u act as if you’re the only person that can and should know anything but not be incorrect or at least slightly off…and when anyone states their opinion you’re unnecessarily rude and outright disrespectful…
in my opinion bandwagon goes a little further than just online matches, generally accepted facts/opinions, and casual play…it also extends to pros and tournament players too…fei long didn’t really get nerfed in super so i guess it makes sense for him to have switched but even still, u can’t deny that he used sagat for his damage output, easily overpowered ultra, and other frame traps,etc. just like other people did…great player though so i’ll give him his credit where it’s due…
you know it’s a fact that people who extensively use ellipses are of lower intelligence.

What about chun li in 3rd strike the most overpowered character in that game what happened the band wagoners left to sagat And now were just like the Chun li players from 3rd strike to sf4 Complaining how 3rd strike she was better. except we are sagat players complaining about him From SF4 to SSF4.
We all have the potential of winning tournaments and being on top But if we keep complaining about how in sf4 he was better we are getting nowhere.
The Only person that i feel like should complain about the change is Emblemlord because his style of play was really good in vanilla and for a player to be that good like him and change is not easy. But el if i can change my whole style of play i honestly think you can too. All it takes is like the 1st step in the 12 Step Program in AA Anonymous. Accept that he is not the same sagat.
It’s nice to see a pro-level player that’s sharing strats/tournament videos online… I used to think that was the type of thing SRK was for. After the tu and if you fadc it, do you have to go right into ultra or can you f.hk then ultra? Im having trouble landing the f.hk after a AS charged tu, fadc. Is it my timing or is the game not allowing the 2nd juggle from the f.hk?
