Just some quick results. By far and away one of the best 3s tournaments I’ve been to, and surely the best tournament we have had so far. Thanks to the TN guys, Jae and everyone else who made the trek to make this happen.

The memphis crew was really good. I underestimated you guys and paid for it in full thanks to Danny, but I am very happy you all showed up.

Chunk - Good shit with Ken. You threw me off a lot becuase you do a lot of shit I never see other Kens do. (S.Ferice -> Fireball xx Super? Who does that?? haha) I’ll see you at the Augusta tournament to get my revenge (all Makoto this time) and ill see what I can do aobut coming up to memphis.

Jae - Thanks again for coming. Great shit with Ken. I always love getting in some practice against you. Dont get pissed that I cheer for my home team though. :wink:

Mick - You have the best Chun Li I have encountered yet. The end.

Ted - As always, thanks for coming. Didnt get to see a lot of your matches but I am sure it was solid as always.

Zach - Your Yun is really good. Standing close MK xx Genei Gin is really sweet. Thanks for coming all the way from TN. Hope it was well worth your time.

Chris/Isaac - Glad you guys could make it. You guys keep on improving each time I see you! Good job.

Larry - Too bad you couldnt make it. Your Oro was the last peice of this being a really well rounded torunament!

I appreciate all the postive comments aobut my Makoto, but unfortnantley I wasnt playing at my best. Making the transition from console to arcade is always tough for me. I have a PS2 now though so I dont think I will be as rusty next time around.

I’ll keep everyone posted on the next tournament…It will be next year sometime I think.

If anyone has any ideas on what could make it better, or just any comments in genreal, dont be afraid to tell me! I have thick skin and I love to know what people think.

Anyway, thanks again everyone for making this the best Fight Club yet. :tup:

agentz-Very solid Yun, most solid one I’ve seen besides like Pyro and the JP’s. You landed the s.mk xx GJ easily, and your ground game was solid as well, real impressive.

Neidel-Had a good time playing you, and that Halo 2 was definately tight as well.

Eli-Your Ibuki was pretty good, I’m beating you the next time we play though. (Secret Vic hints will lead me to victory).

Steven-That was a great Andy C mix we listen to on the way up, gonna have to hook me up with it. Standing roundhouse. :o. Great sloppy joes and fries afterwards too.

June-Haha, that was pretty funny when you passed out and we didn’t even know where you were. Sucks you were sleeping when we were playing Halo.

Jae-Solid as usual, work on that Chun and become a beast haha.

Iggy and his brothers- Fun playing CFJ with you guys for a little bit. Work on that Urien, man.

Ted-Thanks for bringin CFJ, I like it alot. Ingrid is cool.

Congrats to Sundu for winning the tourney and having the best Ibuki I have ever seen. You guys were all really cool and I wish I could play with you guys more often. Epsilon,your Dudley was really tight and you have great potential at winning the next tourney.Haunts,damn good Makoto,I am going to steal alot of it now,so thanks. :tup: Look forward to playing you all again soon.

Memphis crew - you guys were solid, it was good playing all of you

Haunts - Great Makoto, you got some nasty mixups. It’s nice to see someone playing Makoto that’s got their own style and not just x-copying the japanese

epsilon - Great Dudley, you’ve got some great execution. You were hitting EX MGB combo’s off every st. roundhouse that connected. Good poke game also, you know Dudley’s range very well (kept knocking me out of cr forward’s)

Ultimate Yang - You’re Yang is ultimate, except when you hit you BnB and your SA2 doesn’t connect for some reason :slight_smile:

Sundu - You make Ibuki look top tier and Ken look…well you make Ibuki look top tier

Good times, it was cool meeting the Athens and Memphis crew. I’m going to try to figure out some way to rig a P360 into a candy cab so maybe I can dive kick and cr block at the next tourney =)

Eli, what can I say, you rocked everyone with Ibuki. I am convinced that you have the best Ibuki on the east cost. Congrats on winning.

Neidel, you were awesome as always. I wish we could play more often. Thanks for the comments.

Ted, I need to get some Urien tips from you. I love your style. Good times in CFE. I now hate Anakaris thanks to you.

Jay, thanks for the random “Build meter” comments during that match. I think I lasted longer due to it. We need to get some matches next time. Oh, and by the way, only the other guy with red hair is my brother.

Adam, again, what can I say, you still rock, but did I really expect anyting less? Thanks for running the brackets man.

Mick, you’re a cool as hell guy. I hope you do as well in 3s as you do in SC2.

Jae, you have one awesome Ken, but I doubt I need to tell you that. I hope to see you at the next one.

Willie, keep on playing with Akuma. I want to play your Remy next time.

Scott, it was to bad that you didn’t get to enter this time. I was looking forward to seeing your “scrub” Ryu.

Oh, and for anyone that is interested in Tekken. After we left, we went to check out Tekken 5. I didn’t get to play that much, but overall, it seemed to be a very solid game. They took out Jin’s b,f+2,1,df+2, and his b,f+2,1,2 doesn’t even give CH stun anymore =(

Nidel- Dude your Makoto is the shit…after i saw the Hayate punch sumper jump cancel little bitch kick into the number one…i got kinda scared playing against you.

Jae- you got a solid ken…i want a rematch.

Jun- Urien…all i can say is crazy ass aegis reflector set ups. You were sick with that shit yo.

Ultimate Yang - You are the only person that plays with Yang and knows what he is doing. Oh yeah nice car. IM going to STEAL IT!

Adam- I think this is the big muslce out white guy…but yeah you got a scary hugo… me and my friends are still trippin about the down strong into the 360. Yeah thats crazy.

It’s too bad that i couldnt play Jae or Jun in the tournament. I just have to blame ELi for that.

Now everyone wants a copy of the tape. I dont blame ya. Most of the footage is me and my crew fighting everyone else. And the footage is about 2 and half hours long. Maybe next time i can do little interviews and shit. I will send probably some tapes over but i will call Haunts and talk to him about it.

The next tournament…I will win. If i can just figure out that damn Ibuki. Your ass is mine Eli. Just remember that.

Great job ELI for winning 3S. You’re the best ibuki player i’ve seen play that whore. :xeye: :pleased: And i’m not just talking about in the south sir. I’m talking about when I went to cali also. I was killing ibuki’s players with hugo in cali and that shit would never happen against your ibuki. I really hope that you, Jae, Neidel, June, and Ted can make it to EVO2k5 with me and the wife. With all of us there we would knock out some top players just because they would underestimate us because we are from the ATL South. :badboy:

I wish I could have came and won because I needed some lunch money :xeye: Just kidding. I had to work like usual. Either I have to work or I have to leave early because I have to pick the wife up from work. I wish I could have played against the Memphis crew. I got peeps in arkansas and I would stop through if I was heading to LittleRock, Arkansas. I’m going to buy a 3S cps3 system soon so I can put it in my cabinet.

Yeah I think Eli has the best Ibuki in the country at this point. After watching a lot of videos, he has the most consistant ibuki around. He mixes up all his mix ups and pokes really well with her. On top of that, he knows every other character in the game so he always ready to take on anyone really.

I hope we can make it out to Evo2k5 as well, Larry. I am going to plan way in advance this time to make sure we can make it happen. Keep me posted on the 3s cab, we havent played in a long time!
