XI’s balance isn’t top-notch but it’s very fun to play and competition-worthy. And it’s not like the high-mids and mids don’t stand a chance, they can all hold their own.

I don’t want to be same ol, same ol and use Gato/Kula/Random S or A Class character.
Ano no, I’m not trying to be some mid/low tier Martyr. I just don’t want to play S-class/S-Class/A-Class right off the bat, maybe I will a little down the road, but for right now, I’m just going to have fun with the game and play whoever.
I kinda of want to use Kula(Or Gato)/Duo Lon/Iori.
Anything I should consider?
Team order, combo set ups for team?
Team advice in general? (Character Picking wise)
I’m also reconsidering my NGBC team cause I really like Cyber Woo for some reason. So I might go Iori/Cyber Woo.

Guys, there is no doubt that Lee is a good character, but A Class is pushing it. Seriously, stop bumping characters up just because you found a new trick or two that you think is unstoppable.
Iori/Cyber Woo sounds like a good team to me. Cyber Woo can completely shut down some of the cast.
Yeah. If you dont plan to throw any tourneys whatsoever and just wants to play alone at home, you can probably get away with it. But this is not very helpful for the purposes of this thread. Especially if we want some sponsors.
but the whole reason athena is good now is because DG found a silly little trick.

Also who plays NGBC more than us Americans? The Japanese are close but recall they havent updated their tiers…if we were going by their tiers Tung would still be bottom and so would Athena…which is surely not right.

Ambiguous crossups and JAP Debunkin style Lee is seriously GOOD ENOUGH TO KEEP HIM A CLASS. Its just like the TUNG STUFF GUYS…one wrong guess AND YOU LOSE HALF LIFE.

Also this reminds me when Aaron/Dark Zero and Mycah Leonhart swore up and down that Young Geese in Neowave was not top tier. 
:wonder:.I think that argument is over now since that I have shown clearly that Deadly Rave is the best super not as I heard “overrated” in the game and that Young Geese is top tier.
Same thing here, I didnt move the tiers until people saw it in person!! Now Young Geese is #2 in NeoWave and I dont think anyone doubts that anymore…

I never said Tung was still bottom tier, but every time you guys find some trick or gimmick, you post it up and say “OMG this character is now xxx Class!” or whatever. A lot of your testing is based on such a small sample of players that there is no reasonable way for you to seriously claim this stuff. Tung is A Class because you and Joey beat up on a bunch of guys at Evo who had probably played NGBC very rarely, if at all? It’s cool that you beat Mago, I’m not taking that away from you. But most of the time, when you play these games at these tournies, you aren’t playing against players of the same caliber as yourself or the Triad. So how can you make such wild claims? Just because you can get lucky and score half life does not make a character top tier.
For the record, I never recall saying “we have to get DG’s Athena on tape” at any point. You’re quick to forget things and come up with stories. Your Athena was better than what I was expecting, but I wasn’t playing my tournament teams against you and I was STILL figuring out ways around your traps and tricks mid-match, or did you forget how I interrupted your flame super mid activation with K’ and Robert? And I’m only 4th best in NC.
You seriously think you made NC eat its words, put us in our place? To this day, NC as a whole still views Tung as a gimmick. He’s a good one, but a gimmick nonetheless. Certainly not worthy of A Class designation, expert or no. B at best. And Lee is a LOT better than Tung, IMO. But I think high B is just fine for him right now, jumping him up to A just because you found some tricky stuff with him isn’t really smart. Don’t forget: you may have gotten some wins off on our players, but in the end, the tournament results at NEC and FR show what’s really up. Even when Joey showed up at FR and did so well in his money matches, he still didn’t place as high as NC in the tournament. And honestly, I feel like Joey is way better than you, dude. I was far more impressed at FR with his solid play than your tricks and gimmicks at NEC (another top 4 dominating spread by NC).
Honestly dude, you need to chill for a bit. Going around and beating up on players who don’t take the game anywhere near as seriously as you do doesn’t give you the leverage to make wild claims about character rankings.
