Youtube doesn’t like the divx stuff, but you can use Stage6.com Geese. It uploads the video into great quality streaming divX video, beats the hell out of youtube.

Quick question(s) reguarding 98. My current team is takuma, Robert, Joe/O. Yashiro. I might want to pick up Kyo or Terry but dont know shit about them in this game. Which versions of them are better and why? Also is the alt. version of kyo any good?
Finally, I have huge problems against playing mai. why is she so damn safe and why cant I jump in on her? he fan flame (?) the one where she spins around is so safe and it stays out there for days. The hitbox is big and its still there when its not there (not that logical). Anyways how do i beat this annoying bitch?

kyo to kyo 95 have the crB crA qcf*2A/C combo
that is his trademark and the best way to land damage with little effort
kyo95’s only DM is the orochinagi that you will not use too much because after the qcfD,D launcher you might prefer standar kyo’s red kick, 2 of them and it’s stun
in addition red kick (midscreen) or a delayed qcfA, qcfA A chain do nice damage and setup a nice wakeup game
red kick can be also used to win a jumpin attempt or to catch someone offguard
standard terry have a better game after his hcfB/D because a damaging dpD can be landed instead if a tricky dcuC after fire kick (RB version)
high angle geyser (qcf*2B/D) is great too because land a little more damage than power geyser
RB terry lose his dp motion for the rising tackle (for the old dcu input) that because of his autoguard is one of the best special antiair of the game
try to don’t fall for fireball+antiair game and don’t jump at her too much
play footsie all the time and try to bait stuffs to punish
mai is a safe bitch, if you try to retaliate too much she can take out your character easily

Those pics looke like the videos should pretty good quality. How do you get the data from your tapes to your computer though? I’d like to know so that I can copy stuff from my tapes. Also what brand of tapes shoud I be getting for future reference. I keep re dupping over a tape I got in like '97:sweat:
Best thing to do on Mai is to try cornering her through groundgame- OG style. She isn’t so hot if you can keep her mobility down. The less space she has the worse it is for her. Generally when I’m using Mai, I’m trying to run away and bait jumps I can punish if the opponent is a slow char. I switch in some matchups like vs Chris I tend to rush down with jumping C’s (Chris has to DP those, and DP for Chris is risky) and I also sometimes rush down Tak. Benimaru I try to counter poke.
That’s another reason why I like 98 over 02- char vs char matchups seem to cause more radical gameplay changes in 98 then 02. 02 often everyone has that one combo or thing they go for- not as much need for a plan B is there is in 98.
2k2 sucks. Jump in are all fucked up and weird. I try to like the game but cause it has so many good characters. But why play 2k2 when you have neowave.
I see how getting up close can cut down mai, but her quick fan pokes stuffs allot of shit too. what moves does she have that are punishable? Besides the one where she spins around like a dumb ass with her fans?

I used to love 2k2…until NeoWave came out…havent played 2k2 serious ever since…
Hahha I feel like that at times…many many times…esp when one looks cleaner…and fixes many of the problems in 2k2…but alas…some gotta have their BC combos and the like…gotta have things stay the same old same old etc.
There are some difference in 2k2 than Neowave for instance my team in NW is NOT my team for 2k2. 2k2 is Kim, Billy, O.Yash. We all know u cant play Billy in NW cuz he got nerfed to all shit. And i dont play Kim cuz i have Saisyu. I know NW is like 2k2 Reload but they are different to play. Wait till FR11 DG. Ima make u cry in NW and im going to learn Breakers Revenge just because lol.
