Maximum started out godly but without the projectiles in World Heroes Perfect/WH2Jet…
It’s missing them because it only has Samurai Shodown characters that originated on the Neo Geo. Taizan (paintbrush guy)/Shiki/etc. all first appeared in the 3D Samurai Shodown games. Shiki and Asura have sprites now but they were probably seen as too KoF proportioned to fit in.
That said, I’d definitely take a SS3/4 sprite style Shiki, Asura, Taizan, hell even Mikoto or Seishiro over robot kid/whatever other new characters they made.
Of all the franchises out there, Samurai Shodown is definitely one that could use a GOOD rehash. There are so many characters with potentially interesting moves that only appeared in the 3D games and were never heard from again.
Yeah now will we ever see SST Special? Thats th bg question…yes we got a SS Slash coming…but thats 3d…what about our 2d Sam Sho? Is it gonna go the route of Garou with having Maximum imp take the place of the storyline etc?

Well next time actually is EVO North for WHP probably…at least guaranteed by then…it’ll get some play before but we surely gotta have it in the US CHAMPIONS STOMPING GROUNDS!!!
EDIT- Also check guys I have moved Rimururu in SST to B Class. She has too much to offer to be in C Class…esp in Ten Groove…she has a bunch of very good moves…I’ll play her in casuals and I feel she can be a lethal tournament character to be honest…she’s borderline A IMO…
Excellent High Low mixup… Excellent OG Crossover tricks that still work from the older games etc. Has a wide variety of moves and they ALL are good!!!

Well I’ll be Dr. Geese…not professor…as in School Psychologist/Company Representative. Actually for the time being I’m okay because its a nice break away from the action so I can come back full force NEC8 to resume my primary objective…to take out the Triad in NGBC!!!

The Triad is SieClayton, CajunStrike, P-Soul…from North Carolina. They are my biggest NGBC rivals as we all battle for North American and WORLD SUPREMACY…

i was playing as Gai today in KoFXI and i realized his j.B,st.C/D,f+D,f,b,df into mixup isnt very safe. At the df part you can get hit with a close C/D.
Really? I can usually land a normal throw to condition them into not attacking me, but if you were getting hit out of the dash itself, then it can’t be helped. I was under the impression that the dash was invincible though (I know you can do it from sway as well as from the string)… but if I’m wrong, then I’m wrong.
