I dont think everyone hates Neogeo, just there games seem to never make it here. And people are lazy and dont want to get a mod and then buy import games its a pain in the ass. Ill give NGBC a try once it comes to the U.S.

Mizuki- Krauser’s got quite a bit more stuff then the tomahawk…In tournaments if was gonna enter RB2 I would start with Krauser and go between him and Geese…(of course)

Matter of fact I’m gonna Archive the release dates for NGBC and KOFXI with that post FSGamer put up…
Close C, df+B, qcb+C, run up slightly, Crouch C, df+B, then either qcb+A, or qcb hcf+K, or max activate. The run up part is somewhat hard to do, requires a lot of practice.
I think that far B issue after activation isn’t a PS2 problem…I get it sometimes as well, in the arcade version.
Did people find out the tiers in NGBC yet or is the game still too new?
Another question that my Archived info already has…we have changed the tiers…and since now I have proof I believe US AMERICANS ARE BETTER…I scold anyone that believes the Japanese Tier is the be-all-end -all.

**Hammer Frenzy- **What version are you playing 2k2 on PS2? Thats why the combo you are trying with Ramon is so hard…its almost not even worth playing KOF2k2 on Ps2 seriously…that is unless you have a Saturn Pad.
As far as Iori in NGBC, he’s very simple…watch how P-Soul plays him…look up some vids…you ill see how to use Iori.
Krauser’s biggest weakness in RB2 is that he is vulnerable to rushdown. He’s a beast on offense, but has a tough time with defense. Hon-Fu especially gives him mad fits. Krauser’s slightly less popular then Geese. Krauser’s nasty on 1 line stages, but you don’t see those in competitive play.
Guessing Chonshu gives him fits as well, but I don’t play Chonshu or Krauser so I’ve never seen that matchup. Only person I know who uses Chonshu well is Ghostpilot.
As for not liking NGBC, I can understand that- some things irk me about that game, but it’s still less then most other modern fighters. (Yeah, I am stuck in a bit of a time warp, I like the older more then the newer in most cases)
I play Krauser…yes Hon Fu gives him some problems…and yes on Two Line stages they can give him problems…but I wish those RB2 matches from EVO North were recorded…you could see how I play Krauser against Rushdown even…
But yeah he’s right…you gotta come up with ways to handle rushdown…and I do with his pokes…
Krauser is maybe the easiest character in the game to use…seriously.
Mai n RBS gives Krauser fits believe me…

Cause when I played I used Rock or Freeman and my friends would use the Twins, Butt and Tizoc.
I’d also like to learn some Freeman combos if you can think of any off the top your head.

About Freeman combos, there’s really nothing to them…he has almost no combos. Besides his basic rekkas combos, you should probably try to learn crouch Bx2 into qcfx2+P, as well as far A into qcfx2+P. The latter is not that easy and requires some really good hit confirmation skills.

And no, it is quite delusional to think the US is better in NGBC, even if the Japanese “don’t play”. There are still more people in Japan that play NGBC than in the US at a non-scrubby level.

Mai gives everyone fits in RBS. She’s braindead. I don’t like FF Mai that much except in RB1. Krauser has tools to handle mad rushdown, and Hon’s about the maddest rushdown there is, but it’s still hard for him. Chonrei can be a pain as well due to his versatility (I think he’s one of the more versatile chars in RB2- his only weakness is crappy DMs)

Stuart clearly asked for Freeman strats and combos. U answered that correctly. Look at DG post immediately after he says US are better in NGBC. And it is easily safe to say so if u even played any of them in person and then look at Jap NGBC vids.
