No one likes NGBC? Thats strange because last I checked the game IS GROWING…
Dont even compare NGBC to CFJ…NGBC smokes CFJ by all comparisons…
Plus it did better than CFJ once again I feel like I am repeating myself but I discussed why NGBC didnt do too well here…
#1- People compared it to SVC too quickly… #2- The one player mode in Japan is WHACK…they corrected that in the home version #3- They released too many games back to back to back…SNK Playmore did…
#4- For any if AINT KOF…meaning some feel it would do better if it has Hyperhop…I say FUCK NO…keep that shit out of the fucking game!! :annoy: #5- It had little marketing… With the right marketing NGBC is going to take off even more…after all…some saying no one plays NGBC you missed the boat…you shouldve said that a year ago…times have changed…**NGBC is a HOT commodity…

Care to explain what’s so fun/great about NeoWave besides it having Andy?:lovin: I’ve given this game several chances, but I just cant get into it like the other games. I ask because my friend gave me his original xbox and I was thinking about getting xbox live and hunting down NeoWave and 2002/2003.

Luigi- Man XBOX NeoWave aint that great. XBL is the only reason to have it on XBOX. Also with NeoWave if you like 2002 its just a 2002 upgrade thats all really.

I’m kind of a covert SNK fan. I play a lot of KOF games casually. And when I lived in Seattle I’d meet with friends to play Garou everyweekend and we always had a lot of fun.
My question is though: I’ve been hearing a lot of rumors that KOFXI and NGBC are coming state side. I use to play them a lot at a near by arcade and I fell in love with them. So, if they do come out, I’d be a much more “open” I guess you could put it, SNK fan.
Can you confirm this Dark Geese?
Also, aside from the AoF and FF collections that came out for PS2, do we expect any other SNK series compelations coming out state side?
Obviously not Dark Geese, but XI and NGBC are coming. XI comes on Oct.4th I believe and I forgot the NGBC release date. Not sure if anyone knows about more compilations coming stateside yet.

Geese: do you have a list of the differences between the ps2 and arcade kof 2k2? I have both and the ps2 one feels like freaking crap, what gives? I feel like it is inconsistent with moves even.
Also with Ramon, when I try to do close C, df B, MAX Activate, c. C etc… it never activates or activates with a light kick, and messes up the combo. Is this a ps2 thing? This never happens on the arcade version for me for some reason.
Last, also with Ramon, How do you combo close C, df B, c. C df.B without Max activation? I have seen the whole combo go, close C, df B, c.C, df. B, MAX Activate, dash close C, df.B, c. C, df. B, Rolling sobat, Flying Body Attack, Set it Off, Tiger Spin
I can never get the first part to combo before the Max activation, and also I can’t combo df. B into rolling Sobat while in Max mode, any suggestions?

i dislike NGBC for a lot of reasons
i dislike the cast, pretty much a cut&paste job with a crapload of characters that won’t fit each other
for example bare handed against samurai -_-
wtf i consider it as a circus
i dislike tiers, hotaru is a stupid character
i dislike movesets, marco can held a circus by himself
i dislike ho characters move, they seem to slide on the floor
i only think of it as an attempt to mix up some old characters with new
i don’t think that in 2k2 there is that shit
the only thing i can complain about 2k2 (and i’ve already said it) is the awful look
then i like tiers and gameplay considering them amont the best ever seen
