Heavenly Sword was Bleh. Not looking forward to DmC at all.
My GF got God of War 3 for £3.70 and I got Onimusha 1 & 2 for like £2 each I just can’t seem to find 3 or Dawn anywhere T_T.

At the time it was one of the best cinematic experiences on the PS3. Nice look too, at the time.
That game had a limited fighting system, quicktime events and was also around 6 hours long. Looking back, was it worth 60 bucks, nah. But it was good for what it is. Thats the part I’ve having a hard time understanding in this thread, it is what it is, so for what it is why not just wait for the price drop and move on.
Sidenote, if you are a part of Best Buy’s gamer’s club every 3 games you buy or 150 you spend you get an extra 10 dollars off plus whatever promotional value they have with the upcoming games at the time. So SFxT is going to be 20 bucks cheaper for me since I have about 300 points already.

That’s just $5 and under. If we go $10 and under there’s even more stuff 
None of those games bad imo. However I think Legends was better than Legends 2. Could be the result of not playing in years though. I played the HS demo and thought it was okay. I never bought it though.
Where the hell did you get DMC4 and RE5 for 5 bucks? Where are you getting these games? I need to stop buying at Gamestop.

Not at all no. The mechanics upgrade from PS2/Xbox to PS3/360 wasn’t that big a leap. Heavenly Swords not anywhere near as good as DMC1/NGB/DMC3/Oni so on an so fourth. Heavenly sword is pretty. that what it has going for it. A nicely acted story to. But the mechanics are tosh. No freedom at all, combat is boring, the best tech in the game is the counter which you get by standing still and hitting a button right before they hit you, but it has no risk involved because you block by standing still as well. So if your late on the timing, oh well, you blocked the attack anyway. There’s 3 stances but they’re not very deep and you can’t mix and mingle them either. They don’t combo into each other at all so your stuck with the form you chose. The enemies are boring and some of the bosses are really bad.

Seriously I didn’t know a thing about Cyberconnect until I saw the original trailer for this game, but now I have almost nothing but respect for them for having such gargantuan balls.
Out of the 14 episodes I have watched. All of them have a small maps with no exploration, and the combat only lasts 9 min at most, and that’s usually because it was a boss battle. Now lets do basic math.
With 18 episodes, and lets say the limited combat is 8 min average, 8 times 18, that’s not a lot of actual player controlled game play
Is that the fucker that got all those videos taken down? Shit, Im not going to spend 60 dollars on 144 minuets of limited combat. No, fuck you Capcom, you ain’t fucking fooling me…
