I have spoken my disagreements with Islam and Christianity, but what also gets on my nerves is anti-theist atheists like Pedojivo going: “look at this religion… killing this killing that… aw there should be no more religion, everyone should be an atheists”. Atheists are one of the last people to start pointing fingers; you group has just as much blood in their hands historically as the religions they criticize. Those religions at the least have track records of charity work, homeless people helping campaigns, anti-poverty campains, orphanages and hospitals… Atheists got none of that, yet here they are going off as to how Islam/Christianity is some massive neg on humanity.
If you idiots want to make it look like the world will be a better place if everyone is an atheist, then please go to North Korea and live there for at least a year and then come back and lets see you talk.

Taking away the guns doesn’t remove crime. It just goes elsewhere. Look at the UK.
Sure, there is far less death from guns. There’s still plenty from bladed weaponry. The UK has more rape, more muggings, more break-ins, and more violent crime in general.
Guns aren’t the reason people go insane. Guns aren’t the reason Muslim-extremists commit acts of terror. Removing guns solves neither of these things.
@Raz0r Water is wet too. Even if it was possible to take every gun away from every person in America, how do we keep more from coming in from places like Mexico that we are next door neighbors with. It’s too easy to get illegal weapons in the US. But there are other ways to kill lots of people without guns, so I don’t know how the gun discussion is really relevant.
Just because there are other ways to kill people and to get guns doesn’t mean federal regulation shouldn’t be talked about. You will eventually die, so should we stop all medical research? No, but we can make the quality of life better so it’s worth the endeavor.

I don’t have a problem with labeling Muslims who actually commit “acts of terror” as terrorists. My issue was the tendency to only label Muslims as terrorists where mass shootings and mass attacks in America are concerned with relatively few exceptions, like the already aforementioned Timothy McVeigh. That was already clear, though, so your deliberate misreading is all the more transparent.
Anyway, as far as actual news goes, there’s still nothing as of yet. Apparently next to no one (willing to talk on camera) knows anything about the wife of this duo, which is unsurprising given how insular a devout, extremely conservative Muslim woman would be.
Speaking of which, I’m still rather baffled the FBI and local police department let this happen so soon after the shooting. The landlord and the media that accepted the invitation are also to blame, of course, but who the fuck on the law enforcement side legitimately thought turning the house back over that soon was a good idea? I highly doubt they could have found everything of interest given how unsure they still are about so much.
Yeah but the problem with that ban is that California’s neighboring states don’t have such a thing. It’s been proven time and again that lax gun laws in other states create a network where people legally obtain these guns and sell them illegally to others. Were a federal ban in place it wouldn’t make it impossible to purchase those rifles but it would make it way fucking harder to find.
Please remember that you’re not searched when you travel between states but you are when you try to enter the country whether by land, sea, or air.
Assault weapons are already banned, and if you want an automatic weapon, you can only get specific ones, need a gun vendor licence, pay a 500 tax, and pony up 10+k to kill people.
