Ask Kim1234 about random Bison sh*t!

yea its on startup> on wakeup it evades dp’s, and any other part it usually trades with normal dp’s (ex dp’s beat it )

Headpress can beat or be beaten by DPs and Uppercuts. Depends on the angle of jump, the aa’s hitboxes and opponent timing.
Depends on matchup and your capacity to slow down your opponent’s reactions.

Another question. In the corner, when you have the opponent on knockdown, how do you ensure a j.HP that doesn’t cross up? That looks ambiguous, but lands on the same side. I’ve seen one setup where you do a forward throw in the corner, cr.MK (for timing) then j.HP.

Sometimes, if they block, you won’t change sides. Depends on the adversary.

It has to do with height an timing. A throw creates an untechable knockdown. So when he stands up u gotta hit hem at his 1st frame(s). Because the j.hp is a crossup, ppl will block right ( imagine that u did it in the left corner). If your timing aint good, the opponent will actually walk a few frames, which causes you to land behind him always. 2nd, height. U have to hit him high.

And 3rd, it is char specific btw. Its possible on all chars! but timing can be different a bit (harder/easier) because of large and small hitboxes, for example: vega (large) and yun (small)

Delusional, there’s already a Bison lab work thread… Bison Labwork: setups, option-selects and unblockables (updated 4/2013)

Kim seems busy these days? Haven’t heard from him, probably been off the scene for a few months now?

Anyone know why a crossup j.mk to cr.lp cr.lp cr.m/lk to scissors or PC doesn’t work? It seems like there’s enough time to charge but nothing comes out. Makes performing that crossup kind of weird, might just resort to a cr.lp then grab. I think in SFII scissors wouldn’t come out for whatever frame related reason, so you had to use psycho crusher, but neither end up comboing here.

That combo does work you just might be inputting your normals too quickly. You have to properly link them, if you chain them then scissors will not come out at all. And yes, the crouching normals do give you enough time for a charge, especially if you link them properly and space the inputs out. I had problems with that combo as well until i realized i was chaining cr.lp, cr.lp, cr.lk. You might feel like you’re just linking them quickly but the game will recognize that as chaining. Just slow down the crouching normal inputs basically and cancel the lk xx sk like normal and you should be golden.

Any reason why cr jab, st jab, cr mk off of a jump in doesn’t work on adon or Seth?

Hey guys. Checking SRK forums is too annoying. But still wanna help, ask away if there are any bison strategy related questions. Take care
