Hey Kim, what are you trying to do with those dash up, teleport back maneuvers? Seen you do it in a couple matches so far. I thought you were tying to bait something, but why teleport instead of just blocking?

Hey Kim, I always find it difficult to beat other bisons. Its probably my worst matchup and I find myself losing to bisons that I know am much better than. Do you have any tips for the mirror match?

In the Bison mirror, be very careful and dont get reckless. Patience is very important and remember U2 is a great tool if they use devils reverse a lot. What exactly is your problem in the mirror Geopack?
Best bipson in Japan, based on overall performance, I would have to say Shungoku Neurosis. He’s been wrecking shit lately with Bison against top players(yes, even daigo)

This was directed towards Kim but Im gonna give you some indepth reasons to why I use U1 as a player that uses both Ultras depending on the match.
*After knockdown Nightmare Booster tags Gouki’s crossup air hurricane if he attempts whereas U2 doesnt. Auto corrects if you read and he teleports out the corner. Punisher doesnt work here as well
*U1 sometimes gives the opponent a sense that they can throw more fb’s at 3/4 to full screen this gives you opportunity to match they’re meter building with your own. At mid screen if they throw a fb and you focus and they throw another theyre in. Mostly good against shotos and Sagat sometimes but harder to perform on Sagat. This is a mindgame because once they see that it conditions them and makes them respect the Ultra more and your spacing.
*After landing U1 it puts you in a position where you can setup crouch tech, like afterwards i’ll dashup st. short… fierce, shrt, RH (veryg ood damage off counterhit)
*Booster chips slightly more than punisher
*Booster does slighly more damage, trip guards
I think it is very hard to land either Ultra on Yun/Yang other than reaction for ex lunge punch with booster and the obvious palm with punisher but the smart ones wont do that of course. I go U1 for Yun U2 for Yang! These are my personal opinions on the matter of Ultras.
As far as Kim, he dash in teleport against Yun to bait DP! I use this often when the situation calls for it mostly though I do dash in…meaty cr. Strong or foward…teleport. If they press something you get counterhit and getaway!
Good for boxer when he goes for ex rush punch on his wakeup.
I think my big problem is that I have trouble applying pressure. I am over 10000 bp with bison and somewhere in the 3500 range in pp but I find myself losing to shittier players. I don’t know what to do after lk scisssors since the opponent also has a 3 frame cr. I guess it’s just one of those matches I’ll have to figure out…
After lk scissor wait a little and see what they do. A standing mk is really helpful to disrupt their rythm depending on the range. Also, blocking can help u out a lot too.
try not to teleport out of the pressure too because that gets predictable
