Please don’t lump in pro level simply by saying loop and vortex. I can do these and I definitely not pro. I’d say it’s intermediate level.
i’m lazy at trying to define those level at extreme details.
since at times its impossible to judge…
just take it as a rough guide and my simple 2 cents. nothing really noteworthy.
and i’m also not sure at how great the sagat and akuma over your area.
for australia. i could say… akuma > sagat
i can do vortex, infinite loop.
but, 1 careless mistake bad zoning vortex/ messed up lop can means death for akuma.
especially if the opponent can actually dp an almost perfect/perfect placed cross over hurricane.
take it easy on me…i don’t want to end up as an argument subject or trolling for that matter.
back to topic however…
my most fun opponent is maybe sagat due to he’s a combo doll but, i get disgusted when i lose to sagat…i feel alot of my effort can be snuffed out if i’m not sharp at my play.
maybe abel he’s a combo doll as well.
Akuma wins at every level except for scrub, because obviously akuma is a lot harder and riskier to use than sagat.
able to do it at the right moment i guess.
a lot of the times… sorry i hate the term vortex or the actual meaning. i do a lame ass tokido shiki. meaning its a brain dead crossover only tatsu that doesn’t involve the mind game of hitting them at the front…and end up dying by ryu’s light uppercut into ultra. or worse scenario.
or having those crap moments where i tried doing 3c.lp into hurricane and end up getting 3c.lp into standling lk.
infinite loop that broken in the middle during really tight intense match.
doing far standing hk that gets ducked by chunli/ryu(you know what happens if they duck 2nd hit), and cried abit inside cursing why did i even do it.
option select that doesn’t work out as you have expected…
doing stupid air fireball that’s gonna get walk over and sweeped.
teleported wrongly and died by mirror match raging demon.
doing shit decision and i end up thinking why the heck did i even choose to do that in the 1st place.
i’m sure most of us have this moment and maybe still being affected by it.
ijiwaru post clarified for me pretty much. playing flawlessly as you have intended the result to be.
