As we get into fireball wars, I always expect a Demon Flip (or is it Demon Kick?) to come out, trying to catch me off guard but I see it coming and Tiger Uppercut them.
And I don’t come to them, I wait till they come to me. It gets interesting.

Sagat is my most fun matchup. I love how you can just combo the shit out of him.
Yeah Sagat’s hitbox is so stupid big, I can literally hit him with standing roundhouse from full screen. It’s pretty sweet, definitely my most fun match-up.
I love playing fireball wars with Sagat more than anything, because he doesn’t win them.
Yes. Because Akuma absolutely has to throw air fireballs against Sagat (LolohwaitShaku!)
Akuma has ground fireballs too you know, as well as a two and three hit fireball trickery which he can throw out if he times the tiger shots correctly. He can also just simply avoid them.
Are you trollin? Anyway, my most fun matchup is Geif, cus I can be totally winning and then get pile-driven and die. Those are the most fun.

Sagat is my most fun matchup too. And i would say Ken, too. They’re pretty much all the same and without careless mistakes it’s an easy fight for Akuma.

I love fighting Ken and Gief with Akuma.
Ken because most Ken players are either looking to hit you with target combo or fierce shoryu which is so easy to punish.
Gief because he is Gief and the hate mail received after playing keep away is great. I love the ones that imply you should be fighting toe to toe with him. Thats like saying Honda players should try and compete in a fireball war with headbutts
i can’t fight runaway zoning akumas as sagat
i have a much easier time dealing with akumas as boxer
I play as Sagat only and my most fun matches are against Akumas because they are one of the harder characters to beat (I usually win though). No… I dont stand back and do tiger shots all day. I am one of those Sagats that will be up in your face. The thing is… you guys are right… Sagat has a huge ass hitbox plus he is slow. This is the reason why Sagat is not overpowered. His health and damage balances him out. I get alot of hate letters from akumas that cry after they get kneed in the face all day and lose more than half thier life when they get F+HK x2 Ultraed.
Lol wut? He loses because he can do a stupid move and then you can beat it?
Sagat loses fb wars because he can do a random tiger knee from full screen and then get hit by my hadoken.
No character in SFIV with a projectile attack(hadoken, tiger shot.etc) will win against Akuma in a fireball war. Akuma has so many options with his hadoken and zanku and may I add the air hadoken as well. But Sagat is my most interesting match cause you can cross him over so easy and he’s slow. whether I zone a sagat player out or go head on is still in akuma’s favor.
G2 sagats are usually insta-wins for me. Uuuuusually
I like fighting everyone except Bison and Blanka
If you say Akuma loses in a fireball war to Sagat then you seriously need to get off Xbox Live and play a real Akuma. They go toe to toe with each other.
Bison was hard for me at first but now its pretty much even NOW blanka…he’s giving me some problems. Then again I barely fight Blankas in SFIV.
