I just won a semifinal with a 14’990gp Sagat who went to g1 by losing. 2 straight rounds, he never even had me worried.
Then after winning the final (a pretty solid 4k gp ryu, won on 3rd round) i lost the first match to a 5k gp ken.
Bottom line: ** GPs don’t mean shit**
GP is a measure of how much free time you have to play the game online. Of course, if you’re good you’ll reach the top faster than scrubs grinding up on losses.
I’m close to G2-A after about a month or two and have had my ass handed to me by 2k and 3k players who I thought were going to let me beat them for free :sad:. No more judging Ken books by their GP covers…

I just started playing Rog, so nothing racist yet. However, when it does happen I won’t be surprised. As someone else mentioned, the “N-word” is probably one of the most common words I hear during online gaming. I can’t say anything about PSN, but it seems like the people on XBL think that they are paying for the right to say whatever the hell they want. I just file a complaint and move on, hopefully M$ will do something eventually.

Personnaly sometime i get so badly owned.
For exemple during a match i was trying to be the most technical possible … Yes i screwed up big up and the turtle hadoken spammer won.
He sent me a msg telling me how i sucked.
At least i’m trying to improve my game because i don’t want to remain a turtle jumper hadoken spammer all my life.
