I believe there is a youtube video explaining that on art’s site. But don’t quote me on it lol
The only relevant video I found was the 10 minute one demonstrating how to assemble the cases, but it did not discuss compatible Seimitsu joysticks.
^I believe one of JDM’s earlier posts in this thread showed how to mount an LS-32.
thats pretty awesome
ince
Here it is.

Quick question for Art or anyone who has puchased a Tek-Case with artwork before:
Since the art is cut about a quarter inch from the edge of the plexi, is it imperative that the artwork is extended to the red line? Would it be enough to extend the artwork to the border of the plexi?
I don’t mind stretching the art a bit, but I don’t want to lose any art from the sides.
arthong, do you make custom plexi panels? just wondering because i will be either attempting(most likely fail) or see if you or someone could make one for me. i can PM u details if you like…
Ugh. I feel like Art is going to get sick of me soon. I just got my back panel in the mail today that was missing from my original TEK-Case package and he sent a black one instead of a clear one. My other 2 last packages with stick parts came in today too and I now have my stick 100% complete except for this one panel! =(
thats got to suck…
im the cause for my own suffering
i didnt realize there were extra panels u had to order to sandwich artwork
so ive had my case / parts for a good week and half now and still havent put it together
Why don’t you just put it together now and add the artwork when you get panels to sandwich them? you don’t really need those to put everything together.
It is not imperative to go to the red line, that is just a bleed mark. My art was cut very close to how the template looked. I would extend it just a bit over the artwork line however. You don’t want any ugly white if the cut is off by a centimeter.
Um… because there push buttons im using i dont want to take them out and they lose there… umm …ya know lol
but … i mean i guess it really dosent matter…
Thanks for answering! I figured as much but just needed some reassurance haha. I’ll probably extend it to the plexi border, which is about 1/4 inch from the art.
That’s what I did, I cut it all down to the plexi edge trying desperately to make the file under 80mb, didn’t happen, but I tried.
Art already contacted me back and sent out the correct back panel. Great customer service considering how busy he is.
Just posted in the stick thread. But since it’s a TEK-Case :P.
My stick is finally for the most part finished. Just gotta zip tie the ends of the looms (I was gonna heat shrink but I decided undoing the wires to put heat shrink sleeving on was too much work :P). I also have a pink Buttero ball top but still haven’t decided if I like the bubble ball top better or not (I like it better aesthetically, but I like that the Buttero ball top is more unique and you can’t just go buy one for $3, lol). Also thinking about getting a custom etched dust washer instead of the arrowed one (probably a similar look, but just hearts instead of arrows to stick with the theme). Now just to wait for the Arc-Eye 2.0s and Art’s plexi Seimitsu inserts (and maybe if I am lucky, Art will start making parts in pink so I can re-order a bunch of stuff to trim the case in more pink :P).

The LS-32-01 AND LS-40-01 should be compatible. The flat mounting plate (Mounting Plate RE) that ships with the LS-40-01 (and is compatible with the -32-01 since they share common components) has mounting holes that should line up with the JLF’s JLF-P-1-S flat mounting plate. There’s an outside chance that the SS Mounting plate that ships with the LS-32-01 will work, too…
No big deal really. Just be aware of height issues and adjust accordingly with hex nuts and washers as spacers. Ideal mounting depth should be around 3-4mm for the LS-32/-40 series if I’m not mistaken. That’s depth measured from the bottom of the faceplate to the bottom of the LS mounting plate. It’s a bit easier to adjust for depth with the RE Mounting Plate than the SS Plate for obvious reasons… The SS Mounting Plate is more ideal for the Universal Mounts of the HRAP SA-SE and Madcatz TE series of joysticks.
HEY GUYS!!!
Suuuuper sorry for being MIA so long. Man, I didn’t even know how to navigate the new SRK settings for a moment, lol. My sincere apologies for not dropping by as much as I use to. My email has been super cluttered with a big increase in orders and with it, plenty of questions. Again, trying to juggle workload and emails has been a big challenge.
One other thing tying all my time is I’m in the process of looking for a new place to move into. Had some issues with my current residence, so I feel it best to find a new place so I can run the business without any hassles.
With a heavy workload, emails, and looking for a new location I haven’t had much time to really expand my product line as I had wanted. IE: seimitsu plexi inserts. (Still working on setting those up soon as I can).
So please forgive my absence and lack of correspondence. Right now, Email is still the best way to reach me (even though I can be behind on it). If I missed your email pertaining to an issue with your order, please email me again until I respond to your inquiry. There are times where I get like 50 emails, and I can only answer 20 before I need to get back to making stuff. Then next day I get another 20-30 and others get pushed down over time and I’m left with a backlog of emails. I try to answer time sensitive order related questions first, but things can be missed, so I ask to please just email me back if I haven’t responded to your order question within 2-3 days.
If it’s a general question, please make sure to check the USEFUL INFORMATION section and FAQ section first. If it’s a question before you make an order, you can try emailing me again and I will hopefully get to it soon as I can.
Whew… the holidays and MvC3 has really pushed my limits, lol.
Thanks everyone and Happy MvC3 day!
Really great work, arthong. I look forward to using some of these panels/boxes in the near future.
