Actually, it shipped out last Tuesday but thanks for the heads up.
It’s supposed to come out in US sometime in August (maybe at the same AoFA sweet price of $15?).
Well, I wouldn’t say the games suck, but I do think there were other better choices for US releases (SS Tenka, NGBC, MOTW, maybe a double-pack w/ KOFNW & KOF XI, etc).
Anyways, this is one of the few games I haven’t imported yet, and considering its low price I’ll definitely pick up a copy of it sometime soon.
Has anybody picked it up yet? How is it compared to the Japanese version?

I like FF and KOF,but AOF is another matter. I’ve always fel it was too clunky. AOF 3 was OK, but I can’t really make a case for the 1st two. I played the Jap version of FF Battle Archives 1,so I hope that gets state-side release. It’s more worthwhile.
What I’m most interested in hearing would be to see if both Fatal Fury collections would get over here, followed by close US releases of KOF98: UM and SS: Rokuban (the Samurai Spirits/Shodown 6 pack). AOF is nice, but again, it’s a rather “interesting” choice, considering that amongst the small SNK fanbase that exists in the States, they go with the franchise that people know/care the least about.
Yeah overall it wasnt the best decision to make but I’ll still take it and use it to my leverage when I eventually approach SNKP myself in person about what I am doing…
The graphics in AOF3 were insane. Impressive 2D even for the neo-geo system’s standards.
Man Art Of Fighting may be a classic, but it was sure crappy.
