She looks a tad bit healthier then she did in season 2, but you need to get to season 1 levels and toned for me to accept you as the black canary, plus, no one even likes your character anymore, youre annoying. Her sister looked like a girl who works out often, and has been training for years, she was thick, and clearly had an upper body.
Anyways, im just glad to be caught up. Its funny that i saw felicity first on the flash before i saw how they came to be on the arrow. Felicity is hot, but quite honestly, when she doesnt have her glasses on, and she lets her hair down, she turns hella basic. She should style her hair differently when she takes her glasses off. The hot nerdy girl works for her like a motherfucker though. Great casting
Well as we noted earlier, it seems that Laurel’s actress made a conscious effort to be as skinny and emaciated as she could in Season 2. So obviously she’s trying to work it all back. It’ll take her a bit of time though.
I think she’s going to get back just enough but we won’t be seeing curves or anything like that.

No, there isn’t. Writers have openly proclaimed her as a top 10 fighter in the entire DCU in recent years. Some place her at #7 or #8 overall. In an issue of BoP (#125), Oracle basically said she’s on Bruce’s tier and could outlast him.
There’s a reason why she’s always in some mentor/teacher role, teaching others how to fight.
The only thing I’m worried about is that 90 percent of Flashes villians are lame or just suck…

The scream ain’t the issue, whether it’s there or not. It’s the skinny lawyer that can’t fight playing the part.
Some things you gotta let go for the sake of television, such as half assed representation of a character. But this is really bad.
Going back through Season 2, I’m on Geo’s side. I still like Sara and what she’s done in the show, but she’s just not Canary material.
She just doesn’t stack up to any version of Canary, whether it’s pre-Crisis, mother Canary, daughter Canary, New 52 Canary, Injustice Canary, whatever.
No Canary needed a fucking staff to get shit done.
Still, if Laurel wants to be a convincing Canary, she’s gonna have to drop the lawyer act and really have some sort of shakeup in her story. I get that the whole passing the mantle is a nod to the post-Crisis Canaries, but so far Laurel hasn’t shown anything other than a decent hook. Katie is gonna have to show some stage combat skills on Amell’s level to truly step up.

Make her accidentally kill someone with the Canary Cry, then force Ollie and Wildcat to seriously mentor her. She’s already shot people in self-defense (and in defense of Ollie), give the girl some genuine tragedy (Sara’s death notwithstanding).

Even though Black Canary in most renditions seems to have the scream, that’s not necessarily the first thing I think about when I hear “Black Canary”. I usually think of fishnets, blonde, and ass-whuppin’; in that order. Then I’m like, “oh shit I remember she’s got that sonic scream too?!”
Agreed. Sara only got one of those things right; being blonde. I don’t recall any fishnets, and the ass-whuppings weren’t quite sufficient to count as Canary-tier beatings.
Canary doesn’t even like using the scream a lot of the time. That’s something they could work into Laurel’s character if they ever made her meta.
