Found out about the show just last year, just before the third season release. The series is pure genius and I watch an episode at least once a day, prior to bed, to tuck me in. The plot is intricate, convoluted and refreshing, cast is pretty much perfect (well, donât care too much for Michael Cera), the writing is sick, Will Arnettâs the fucking MANâŚI could go on and on about this show.
Yes, the showâs cancellation was a travesty and it is indeed Foxâs fault the show failed to find an audience â well, Fox and the showâs completely esoteric and intertextual writing, to be fair.
Just like Family Guy, I never got a chance to watch the show in syndication, because Fox was flipping its schedule pretty much every damn week. They also advertised the show horribly â it was impossible to tell what the show was actually about from their commercials. Luckily, the show looked unique enough to always keep me chasing it. Iâm glad I finally caught up to it.

Glad to see someone else has became a fan, but I canât believe you are hating on Cera. The awardness of George Michael is portrayed perfectly by him, so organic, hard to tell if he is acting or not.
Anyway, to the people mentioning downloading the episodes, stop being buy-curious and just make the purchase. You wonât be making a huge mistake.
Donât get me wrong, Cera does a fantastic job. He just doesnât project the kind of charisma the rest of the cast does and he seems quite limited in his acting abilities (how much you wanna bet this kid falls off for at least a while after this?).
He pulls the bewildered Keanu persona better than anyone else Iâve seen, but it makes him much more one-dimensional than Iâd like. Heâs great for AD, he just doesnât resonate with me personally.

The ending to the righteous brothers is the funniest thing Iâve ever seen on televison. I love how Gob lunges his face forward right at the end. Just brilliant.

With the sun behind him with the mirror assist so it will be closer. I take it that he didnât want to leave because he had a boner but they left room for interpretation with that one.
